Both came with 2.0ohm coils and the ohms were etched on the coil. I thought that was kind of nice since my iClear30 coils do not have the ohms etched on the coils. I used both on my MVP with Icy Mint 16mg but one i swapped out to a used/cleaned iClear30 coil that is supposed to be 2.1ohm.
Well, for about the first 5 minutes i was very impressed with the stock coil flavor but it ended pretty quickly. Even at only 3.8v the burnt taste came rather quickly. I let it set for 15min before using it and i tried not to take long draws or chain vape. I lowered it to 3.5v and the burnt taste remained but slightly improved after using it sparingly.
The other one with the iClear30 coil is better and its a used coil i had cleaned. Its still not great but im not getting anywhere near the burnt flavor i got from the i16 2.0ohm coil. I have a fresh iClear30 coil i will try later but at this time im not sure if its worth it. Both have a very tight draw also and my iClear30 seems to have better vapor production.
About the only thing i did like is they are easier to fill than my Kanger T3S's and they were a dollar cheaper. IMO the T3S still has it beat in all areas except ease of filling and the Kanger replacement coils are cheaper.
Oh well, it was only $14 for 2 at the B&M and i needed some more juice anyway.
