Set the setting at 20 volts DC and hold the red probe to the center post on your PV or the positive end of your battery. Hold the black probe to the threads or the negative end of your battery. and read the level of charge. On the PV you will have to push the button. If your checking the Ohms on a carto or atty set it to 200 Ohms touch the probes together and take that reading. Now hold the red probe to the center post of the carto/atty and the black probe to the threads ob the body of the carto/atty. Take that reading and subtract the reading you had from when you touched the probes together and that is the Ohms that carto/atty is.

If your just wanting to know the output of your pv one of these are easier to use. Just screw it on and push the button.

Did you contact the guy you bought if from? If you bought that one in the classy ad then he should refund your money and if he doesn't you should leave neg. feedback.

funny thing ishe is a friend of mine on here and ive done alot of swaps and bought and sold with him. im almost thinking he either figured he wasnt sure how it worked and gave up on it or it got jacked up during shipping. i am planning on pming him to let him know it doesnt work though.
