I have charged the battery on the Riva 510, so that is ready. I have plugged the PCC kit into the electricity, with the battery inside the PCC, which I hope is also charging the battery.

Is that the right thing to do. Charge the battery inside the PCC while the PCC is hooked up to the mains supply ?

I want to have my first smoke, what should I do. I got some cartermisers, so that it would be a bit easier / more user friendly first time round. So what do i need to do.

Should I take the titan and simply plug in one of the pre filled cartomisers. I don't have to do anything else with it, just charge bat and plug in one of those? is that correct.

Lastly, how many puffs am i going to get out of one of those pre filled cartomisers ?

Yes just screw the cartomizer onto the battery, take small slow drags, don't smoke it like a cig. You will get the feel of it to how much to drag on it but if you take too big a drag first time will hurt your throat. I don't know how long one will last I have never used that kind. Be sure to drink lots of water, vaping is very dehydrating.

Hi kc, haven't used a PCC before, just eGo & Riva on normal chargers but I believe if the "Charged" indicator light is illuminated on the PCC, your good to go.

Just plug in the prefilled cartomiser and vape away.

BTW: what were your previous analogues? Your juices look to be fairly low mg. I used to smoke Dunhill Blue here (mid strength) and I now vape 18 or 24mg.

HAAAAAA, just taken my first 10 drags. this is with 11mg menthol.

I like it. It feels good.

Is that a high level of nic there ?

Lastly, what happens when the cartomiser comes to an end. Can I refill it, and how do i know when it is coming to an end

only PCC i ever had was for my Blu....they (Blu customer service) said it WAS NOT a good idea to charge a battery inside the PCC while the PCC is charging. I have no idea why they say that. I am not the guy to talk to about battery chemistry. Just thought I would pass that along.

If you were a heavy smoker, that 0nic stuff isn't going to help you out much i think. maybe if you wanna vape at night and use the 0nic to cut down on your overall nicotine intake. If you find you aren't very satisfied with the 0nic and want to, you can get straight PG and/or straight VG with nicotine but no flavor. It will water down your flavor but bring up the nic level.

Also, you can get higher (say 24mg) bottles of the Spearmint, Cola and Arc and dilute it down with your 0mg juices to the level you want. That way you won't suffer a reduction in flavour. Your going to use more juice so it won't hurt.

But if 11mg is doing it for you, stick with that. I have my doubts though given your previous analogues.

Yes you can refill the cartomiser and there are many threads here and also on U Tube that deal with how to best refill. I use the "condom" method myself!!!

That is a real low nic level, most of us start at 24 or 18, some even 36. I am glad you are enjoying your first vape but I would put an order in for some juices with some nic in them. If you want to cut down slowly later that is fine, you just don't want to go back to smoking cause you weren't getting the nicotine you needed.

Yep, these usually arrive empty. Again there was a couple of threads here today that go into how to fill these.

If you like your 510, wait until you get your Riva firing!!!

Charge the PCC first (without a battery inside) and then charge the battery inside the completely charged PCC. The battery will charge inside the PCC if the PCC is still plugged in, but the purpose of the PCC is so you can charge batteries in the PCC while you're on the go -- without it being plugged in.

This was based on the instructions for charging a Volcano PCC and batteries.

There are a ton of posts describing how to fill and refill cartomizers. I have one such post in a blog, accessible over at the left under my avatar.

I also have blogs about cleaning cartomizers, but I've found it's best to just discard cartomizers when they start producing less flavor or get a funky taste, because cleaning cartomizers doesn't really help and can degrade the future performance. I rotate about 20 cartomizers and refill each cartomizer about once each day or day and a half. They last about three to four weeks or about an average of 20 refills each. Some will last longer than 20 refills, and some will last less than 20 refills.

The search box at the top right is very handy to find all kinds of posts relating to the subject you're looking for. I like to use the Advanced Search and Search Titles Only for certain subjects.
