well got first kit i believe was 7/17/2013 i did cut down right away from 2-3 pad to 1. then slowly tapered them out haven't had one since 8 am 9/3/2013 now even the smell of them turns my stomach. hubby wakes me up every morning stinking up the house i'm like go outside that stinks lol. i bought him a kit also but he never gave it much of a chance until i quit. he said he didn't think i'd do it. surprise i did. when i'm awake he will smoke outside now but he thinks i won't smell it when i'm sleeping ugh

I don't think I can really "welcome" you here because I'm a noob to this forum, but I will say congrats! I've been analog-free for two weeks today, and it's been a journey of several years getting here.
I've tried quitting before using various methods (patch, gum, cheap gas station e-cigs) all with differing levels of failure. Now thanks to the information here on this forum (Been here as a lurker for about two months before registering) and several great folks on YouTube I think I've found a hobby/lifestyle that will satisfy my urge for nicotine and make my inner geek happy with new toys and gadgets.

Congratulations, that is excellent!!!! Going from 2 - 3 PAD down to 0 in under 2 months - amazing!! My guess is that once your hubby sees how much you enjoy it, and how much healthier and happier you are, he'll give it a good try. And you'll be giving him expert advice
Congratulations! I took a few hits of a nasty analog a few months ago, but other than that I've been tobacco free since February of this year.

Took me a year to fully weed off of analogs. So long as your making strides in a positive direction its all that matters.

Congrats and welcome to the forum. In may I was smoking 2+ PAD and now I havent had a cigarette since June. All things are possible even for us formerly heavy smokers. Good luck on your journey.

I was almost at 1 pack a day when i was laying down trying to calm down cause i was starting to get a nicotine fit and my chest started hurting and i said ENOUGH OF THIS and never went back.
