Finally joined - been reading for a month

I'm not sure why I didn't join the day I found this place.
Then again I was reading reviews and such, from different brands and things like that.

A month ago went and bought two g6 kits from Halo,one for wife and I, they were ok but I hated charging them almost everyday. Refilling the little cartridges
kinda bugged me so I bought 4 mini-tanks two for each. Then last week I found a k1000 I have been looking at and got that. Was supposed to be a protank 3 on it but only thing I saw was the little fold able paper. I noticed in reviews that the tank had the logo on the bottom etched in but this one didn't. That's ok though it holds
more then those g6 tanks. Battery lasts longer as well.

Looked for more info wife liked and ordered the an evod kit with two 1100 batteries in it. They came in the mail today woot. Now she is looking at different tanks so she can have a different tip. Read that the the tank I have would fit her evod because it was the same company but it didn't fit. I'm happy with my k1000 but I kinda want to be able to have an extra tank or two. So figuring out what exactly I have.

Same with the wife. Finding out what tanks and such can fit that battery, I heard it was a 510 thread then I heard that no evods are ego threads. Read that my k1000 is a 510 then read it was an ego thread as well.

Either way we both still love are newer models of joy.

Hello and welcome!

Maybe this will help.

• Your EVOD has both 510 and EGO threading. It can use a tank with either of these threads.

• The 2nd picture is a beauty ring. If you use tank that has 510 threading, you can screw the beauty ring onto the EGO thread of your battery before attaching the tank to the 510 thread. This will hide the EGO threading.

• The third picture shows a battery with the beauty ring and the tank attached. I know the Kanger Protanks come with this in their tank kits. The beauty ring can also be purchased separately at most vape shops and online stores.
