Finally made a VV box

I know the inside looks ugly but It works up to 6v using 2-14650 batteries and a TI PTR08060WVD switching regulator. I used a normally closed switch on the inhibit pin. My cost was just about $14 not including the batteries. Just couldn't believe I got it working so easily, There wasn't much room inside the tin to fit everything inside neatly because I used too much wire, Tomorrow I'll work on making more room inside and use a hot glue gun to neaten it all up.

Good looking mod, I really like the box, and that tobacco warning on the cover...reminds us why we're doing this. Keep an eye on that NC switch though...it's been said tons but it's better if it doesn't work when you want it to than having it work when you don't...

Cool mod!

I tend to use the mod a few days blink: or weeks ) before sealing the internals (hot glue) just in case something needs tweaking.
