Hello I want to introduce myself. My name is Chris and I have been benifiting from a wealth of information from this site. I finally signed up. I smoked for 11 years and I think its been about 18 months without a real cig.

I started using a cig2o kit from my local tobacco shop. Then after a few months I thought there must be something better (after being over the hump of desiring a cig). I tried Green Smoke after reading reviews, but it was way too hard to draw and the carts didn't last long nor were they strong enough menthol taste for me. I next tried V2 cigs which leaked into my mouth all the time and had other issues. By the way the batteries were USED! Got an email from Green Smoke - They redisgned their batteries and came out with "flavormax" cartridges. I gave them another chance, damn what a difference. I fell in love with them. The battery lasted longer and the paint didn't scrape off like some others did. Customer service was great. One time I got 1 defective cartridge out of a 5 pack so I called them and they sent me another 5 pack free! I don't know what other company would do that. I also tried "green smart living" one word "cheap". for emergencies only.

I then realized im spending way too much money on these cartomizers from green smoke. So I wanted to try refilling them. That went just ok cause they lasted maybe 2-3 refills. Plus a lot of flavor transfer.

I went ahead and got the ego-c. Wow I love it! I tell you guys it's awesome but the problem is the only juice that wicks great for me is johnson creek regardless of pg/vg or straight vg. I tried halo, and ***** *****, and others and get a burnt hit.

Anyone else have these problems?
Thanks for letting me share!

Hi Lucent,
Yep - I used the improved Greensmoke too in the early days and I found the batteries and cartos pretty good actually. They kept me off the cigs. My issue was the same as yours - the price. Way over-priced. I quickly got something better - Smokeless Image Volts and was much happier. They were better and less expensive for longer term vaping. Now I have a few different pvs because my curiosity got the better of me - my preference is variable wattage but I am going to try a liquid feed mod soon to see that they are like too.
A lot of people find those egos good. Congrats on the 18 months without a cig - I'm getting closer to a year off them myself. And it sure feels good not be smoking anymore.

I haven't had issues with burnt hits with my juices. I usually have 80/20 or 70/30 PG/VG. Quite a few people find 50/50 wicks ok too. I vape Mt. Baker Vapor juices a lot these days.

The Volts refills look pretty cheap too. Have you tried green smoke "mocha mist"? it taste like coffee beans I haven't been able to find another like it. Congrats on almost a year!!! That's awesome. I will have to try Mt. Baker Vapor next.
