Just found the one you mentioned on-line. It's your typical, way over priced, mini-model PV. Sorry to tell you that.

Rule of Thumb: generally, the more it looks like the real thing, the worse the performance.

If you really want to transition to vaping, then at least start out with a model like the Kgo 510 or E-Power 510. Get some blank cartomizers and some eliquid in the 18mg - 24mg nicotine range and save money and fill them yourself. One of these kits will run you around $45. It will give you 3 - 4 times the battery life of the one you bought plus warmer vapor and more consistency. They are the size of a sharpie pen. The only mini-model I would recommend and that would be for a light, casual smoker would be the Volt.

Good Luck

Definitely consider ordering a better ecig kit!
Also try taking long slow drags as opposed to quick hard drags like on cigs. You should get better hits that way.
In the meantime, maybe order:
Elite Vaporworks KGO Starter Kit with Boge LR Cartomizers - KGO

Eventually, you'll want to get away from those pre-packaged cartridges in favor of filling empties with some GOOD juice.
Go to TasteYourJuice.com . . There is a TON of info on there.

The first couple of hours I had that cough reaction. But I adjusted to it and it bothered me less as the day progressed. Reminded me of when I first started smoking. Head rush, irritated throat etc. I think you'll get used to it.

For best results with your ecig, take long slow drags. Gently inhale and exhale. If it seems like too much for your throat take slightly shorter drags until it feels more comforatable.

What mg nicotine strength are your cartridges and what did you used to smoke?

Welcome and congrats on starting your vaping journey.
The carto needs a few seconds(5 or 10 at least) between puffs
to wick the juice down to the coil. As they get drier it takes longer.

And, depending on how full or new/old the cartos are they may not
have a very long life cycle. Most are really quite short.
You may go through 2 or 3 a day if you want good flavour.

You may however be able to extend their usefullness by refilling them
using a bottle of juice which will be much cheaper for you in the long run.
