Maybe lower nic level to 3 and 100% vg?

I'd try this suggestion first, this tank goes through more juice then your old set-up so you could be getting up to the double amount of nicotine per inhale. I recently got my first mod & tank too after 5 (!) years on an Ego and went from 6mg to 2mg myself and don't feel I'm getting any less nicotine. I must admit I have starting vaping more too though, simply because I'm enjoying the new set-up so much.

For starters I'd turn down the airflow as much as possible. If you use the SS316 coil that came with it try temperature control mode, set it to 30W or so and start at a low temperature like 180c or 360F and work your way up to find your sweet spot.

You might just start to find that tank very enjoyable ;)

Good luck!

I don't own a Cuboid mini so I don't exactly know how to operate the menu, sorry.

You need to put in SS Temp mode and then you should be able to to adjust the temperature with the plus and minus buttons.

On my Evic VT it's 3 clicks on the fire button to go to in to the menu but I'm not sure if it's the same on yours. You should be able to find that info in the user manual though.

I smoked for 15 years. 4 years ago I bought a provari. I have been using it ever since and occasionally changed the tank.
Yesterday I decided I would buy a new setup. I purchased a Hercules plus tank with a joy tech cuboid mini. No matter what I do or adjust it irritates my throat. I had nautilus on my provari before hand and it was always smooth.
I use juicy ejuice fluid 6mg. 50/50
Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong. Thanks
Sean

I vape MTL, and I would say that tank is more for direct lung hits. I have been there....I tried mtl on a couple rdas and it made me cough and irritated my throat. I use my cloupor, subtank mini, and reliant mod to vape at only 7w to 10w. I love those 3 mods, and even though they can go up to 50w I still only vape at low watts. I use a Sub tank mini (I can do mtl hits on it :) ), aspire triton (i even found my sweet spot to mtl hit on it, but it is not as easy to do on it) and of course my Smoktech FBC tank (this is my favorite tank! Just a simple tank). I love the Kanger Sub tank mini! I rebuild my coils, and the rba deck is wonderful that you can get for it. I can build my coils on it to best suit my vape styles! I like building it at 1.8 ohms, 2.0 ohms, and even .5 ohms when i am feeling frisky! Lowering the nic could help as well.
