i can run a .9 ohm coil on my mini @ 3.5v with no problems

Wow, might have to give that a try, I ran one of my PT2's with a 1.2Ω build on a shops Zombie mini and it vaped for 2 pulls and threw a C3 code (I think). I had the device set at 3.8V, maybe that was where I went wrong. I was just test driving one that day to see how my builds performed.

Edit: Just read the Owners manual, the code that the shops device threw was E2, so I must have had the Volt setting to high for the 1.2Ω atty.

ok actually its a .98 on a igo-l

Ok, so if were to build a coil lower than 1.3Ω and fire it, my setting would have to be lower than 3.5V?

Still learning about this device, I know for a fact that an eVic will not fire anything below 1.1Ω

Right now I have a 1.6Ω build in my PT2 and it is making nice clouds, but as a coil builder, I can't help but try to find this devices Ω limit.

Got two things today.

1. 18650 extension cap, Provape came through with a win on this one, the zombie blood splatter matches perfectly with splatter on the main body, it's like they were meant for each other.

While "helping" at the Vape shop, I'm the shops mech/coil builder and get compensated with juice and vape gear.

2. I picked up this awesome little single coil dripper, built a 2.0Ω single coil for it and drilled the tiny air hole out with a 5/64 hole. I vapes soooo nice on the Zombie.

Hope everybody is having a great weekend. :vapor:

TexasTanker, I've got the ProTank 2's as well as the Davides and have started to re-coil and wick with cotton. Since lots of people compain about the airiness of the ProTank, can you explain to me why you drill out the holes on the base? Does MORE air equal better flavor or bigger vapor?

You sly dog, you. A new Coach purse, huh? :D I by my hubby new tools........:p

Yes, when I first started rebuilding my PT2's it was a great performance upgrade over the stock coil.

Now, after drilling out the air holes....WOW, it makes the PT2 make nice clouds, and the flavor is super rich. The only thing I have found that out performs my modded PT2, is my Mech with a dripper atty and subohm coils.

Thank you, TexasTanker; and so I make sure I've got this right. Drilling out all 3 airholes in the base makes for MORE air which gives you more flavor and bigger clouds. :)

I'm not looking so much for clouds as I am flavor. Thank you again for helping.

Yes, drill the base out to 1/16 and enjoy the rich flavor, airyness and larger vapor. Just remember, once you open them up, take long slow pulls. Most people who are use to tight draw tanks tend to over pull and flood a tank that has an easier draw.

I know they are too, but her eyes light up every time we go to the Coach section in the PX on post. Just like my eyes light up in a Vape shop or Car parts store.

Coach purses are her one thing she will drop money on fast, my wife is very thrifty and runs the bank acc. with an Iron fist. Also we got tax money so that helped yesterday too.

She doesn't throw her purses in peoples faces, but does love the complements she gets, kinda like Provari owners, just sayin. :vapor:

I have one coach purse,,,,,

it's been through hell,,,,,,,,dropped, dragged around, etc,,,,,,,,

not a scratch on it,,,,,,,still looks as new as the day it was bought,,,,

worth every penny. Kinda like a Provari :)
