    No you can't
 Using variable volts or variable watts.
Just got my Vamo ;) today first VV/VW mod.
When your trying to find your sweet spot, how long do you wait during puffs (so taste is gone etc) untill trying next setting ?
I have tryed TUNDRA from Johnson Creek, Orange cream(DYI), now menthol(DYI).
    Bad results
    I'm trying a menthol(DYI) the flavor?
Don't see much difference untill it starts to taste burnt.
The only thing I can think of is that i'm puffing to soon ?
Taste better with VEA then using VV/VW

    :blink:Help Please!

When I'm adjusting voltage settings, I typically take a few drags and wait a couple of minutes, then change the voltage up and repeat the process. The difference can be really subtle, and the sweet spot can change a bit from day to day and vape to vape. I find that menthol can just numb my tongue and I won't see a noticeable change in flavor until I burn it.

I start low and work my way up. I take a couple of puffs and see if it tastes good or not. If the flavor is weak or too cool, I turn it up a notch and take a couple more puffs. I know I have it too hot if the juice tastes like steam instead of juice. Sometimes I just pick a number based on what I'm using. For instance: if I have a 2.0 ohm carto I set it at 4v and see how that performs. If it's too hot, I turn it down.

Welcome , but you don't mention what your using as far as voltage , and /or atty's , or carto's . If your getting a harsh , burn't like tatse , you either have your voltage too high , or the device your using , needs more juice . And be sure that your using a thin enough , liquid . Some VG juices , don't wick , very well . Good luck

You don't mention how long you have been off of cigarettes. If its only been less than a month or two, realize that your taste buds are shot from years of smoking. They will heal and your taste will return to normal, but it will take some time.

I'd recommend, if you are not already, to exhale some of your vapor through your nose to allow your sense of smell help your affected sense of taste. You can better understand this phenomenon by remembering how food seems bland or tasteless while having a stopped up head or nose. So, our sense of smell contributes quite heavily to our sense of taste.

Also, depending upon the e-juice, some flavors benefit a lot by allowing them to mature or steep one to two weeks before they reach their maximum flavor.

I've found that fruit flavors can taste burnt over 4v. I like my coffee flavors between 4-5v, and my cinnamon over 5v.

I am with Hitmetwice here. My juices are good on a Twist with a 2.4 ohm Nova Mini at a range of 3.8 - 4.2V. As the coil starts to get a gunk build up I just twist a little and the higher voltage gives the same flavor. I do not really have a single sweet spot but the Twist allows me to avoid lack of taste or a burnt taste. I adjust voltage up or down to compensate for what is happening at that moment.

Until you have the experience of us "Veterans"; Start with fixed voltage; my suggestion? 5 volts, then explore your atty, carto, and juice choices. It could turn out that a fixed voltage device satisfies you like nothing else. Oh and take into account everything the previous posters wrote. Yeah my Provari is my current device but I also love my 5 volt GLV. I was a certified dripper on standard Joyetech atties for almost 2 years and now use Smoktech SINGLE coil carto tanks. It all changes (the fun of it all) and you WILL find your sweet spot and your all day vape. Oh and yer VV or VW will hold the voltage or wattage and hold it indefinately. That's one thing posted I might dissagree with; Try your setting for extended periods with different juices to get a better idea of what it's like over time. Everything is variable not just the PV. Good luck finding that sweet spot, some of us spent months and are still not sure!
