Hi guys..I'm new here and have been an e cig smoker for about 3 months now...My wife wants to switch to them now (I catch her using mine! lol). I used Greensmoke from day one and been very happy with their brand. I did a search here on the forum for firelight e cigarette reviews and only seen a few entries. I came across this company a few days back and seen great reviews by users. Has anyone tried this brand?? I couldnt get over the price of $30 and $50 for their basic starter kits. I was going to purchase another Greensmoke kit for the wife but seen Firelight because of their reviews. I went ahead and purchased their starter kit..It should be here tomorrow. Anyone have any input??

Thanks!!

I am about to buy the firelight after a few weeks of the Blu. It's the next cheapest, and I don't want to blow $150 this time around. Only trouble is....will I be throwing hand after first $$ for every new kit that hits the market? Sure hope not...

It's far to easy to "collect the whole set" with these things. I've spent more than I should have, I can tell you that!

I my experience (when it comes to starter kits), anything with a name is usually overpriced. Anything that's being sold as just a model number (510, KR808, etc) is going to be less expensive for the same (sometimes better) quality.

BTW: MercyPoetic, I would never mistake you for a fella ;)

I actually just bought one of these. I found the forum on my search to find out if e-cigs were a sham, and was glad there is a collected place with so much info. I found in some PDF a while back that a firelight is in-fact just an m-402.
Now, with out having tried anything else...I'm pretty impressed.
One thing that surprised me, was the cartridge, I've looked through some of the modification pages, and it seems that the firelight comes...pre-modded if that can happen..haha
Instead of any kind of filler in the cart, it is sealed with foil, over a kind of loose mesh fabric. Essentially, the cart is full, except for the thin membrane over the top. They stay sealed, until the bridge punctures them when you're ready to use.
I did get some extra juice through another vendor, and have even had luck refilling them.
The battery lasts me all day, not using it a lot at once, just about 5 minutes at a time like I would normally smoke, in fact one filled cart lasts all day too. I'd approximate the time/drags of 10-12 cigs.
Anyway, if the opinion of a newbie counts, I really like them. I will have to look into another place to buy the atomizers though, as the firelight branded ones on the e-cigarette national page are about $20 a piece.
For my boyfriend and I who are intending this as a stop smoking aid, it seemed like a perfect option. For around $90 we got 3 full e cigs, a carrying case/charger, car charger, usb charger, and 27 carts. We don't intend to use this forever, so it seemed silly to go big guns with fancy toys. For us this is a perfect replacement.

That sounds almost identical to a Blu... Actually it sounds like it IS a Blu cig under a different name...

I wish i could find again where I got this PDF from. Someone here in the forum posted it. It's got all the e-cigs with their common names and then model numbers. firelight is listed as an m-402
the blu is listed there as a DSE103.
Those diagrams show some differences especially with the atomizer.

M401
The ‘M’ Series usually consists of the 401 – 402 – 403. These models differ by the length of the battery. They are
interchangeable, but the 402 & 403 batteries are shorter in length.
The M-401 is interchangeable with; Health E-cig / Intellicig EVO / BE401
Also goes by - Mini Cigarette / Eaze Magnum / Sensation / Mr. E Mini / Sideshow / M4 / Pilot / Firelight

DSE103
Interchangeable with BE103 / RN4081. Note; DSE103 Cartridges only fit on DSE103 Atomizers, and RN4081
Cartridges only fit on 4081 Atomizers.
Also goes by – Blu / Smoke Assassin / Gamucci Micro

My apologies for not giving credit where is due, there is no author listed on the PDF I've got, just to contact the forum, and for the life of me I can't find this thing again.

I wish i had the same experience. I just got my firelight starter kit the other day and I don't know if we got a bum set or what, but the battery lasted me about 4 hours and not puffing that much really and I can't seem to get a cart to last more than about what i would define as 3 smokes. I also hate the flavor it has this sweet vanilla extract taste, I just want it to taste like my Marlboro Lights. The vapor and hit is nice for about 5 to 10 hits for me on a full cart and charged battery after that it seems like its just a steady decline. I am looking at the joye 510 now but having a hard time doing it, I am in love with this idea of vaping and saving money but I don't want to keep putting money into kits only to find out they don't work well.

From the marketing on the firelight e-cig website they make it sound like they have a revolutionary atomizer that no one else has, well if its the same as an MXXX then that's crap, hard to trust a company that lies and says that there phone number is only for orders please don't call to ask us a question.

Thats funny, the customer service is one thing I was really excited about. They even called me to confirm my order, and see if I had any questions because I was a first time buyer. The taste, I admit left something to be desired, but I'm using the Kamel from vape4life with it right now. I am using the Fluval stuff in the cartridge, with about 15 drops of the kamel juice, and really enjoying it. It by no means tastes like smoking a cigarette, but it tastes like the smell of opening a new pack...

I've had my firelight kit for 2 days now and so far so good. The cartridges dont last that long and I have a sore throat now, but its keeping me away from the real things. The eliquid i got taste like a cold cigerette. I cant wait to order some flavored eliquid. Another thing about firelight is that if something breaks it only cost 50.00 to get 2 brand ecigs with all the accessories. I would spend that in days of real cigs.

I have the Firelight starter kit and so far can recommend it and the company which sells it: ecigarettesnational.com Their customer service was just fine. They are friendly, helpful and casual (aka easy to communicate with). I've been using it non-stop since I got it, about two weeks ago.

My batteries have lasted anywhere from 4-5 hours to 12 hours at a stretch depending on how much I vape. I have had no problem with the atomizer at all. (One of them I have saved and is unused, just in case I need it.) The prefilled carts don't last a ton of time, but they are relatively cheap and I have just been refilling them with juice. (Out of the ten carts that came with the kit, I have eight left. One of them I destroyed just to see what was inside so I could refill it accurately. The other one is still on the end of the e-cig.) I've used juice I bought with the Firelight and juice from another company. The only issue I have is that the strongest juice ecigarettesnational.com carries is 16mg, and I had to go stronger.

As for it being a copy of a numbered-type brand of e-cig...I dunno because I am a newb. All I know is that I tried a friend's Firelight, liked it and so bought it because the kit seemed reasonably priced, easy to use and I wanted to stop smoking...which I have.

I have no complaints. As a newb, I am satisfied and also happy that I haven't laid out a ton of cash so far. When I am completely comfortable with vaping, I might investigate a different brand of e-cig out of curiosity. For now, the Firelight is doing just fine.

re ecigarettesnational.com they have a pretty standard range of ecigs. their starter kit prices look pretty standard.but their replacement atomizers are triple the price of comparable cigs.
I haven't bought from these folks before but i found http://cleanelectroniccigarette.com/atomizer-c-_23_31.html

I bought a similar package from a local head shop and i liked the atomizer and cartridge but the battery never worked that well and when i started dripping on the atomizer juice got in the auto sensor and the cigar got very hot (melted the led) and outgassed. AVOID dripping with the automatic battery (for newcomers: Dripping is putting the e-juice right on the atomizer)

I've been using the joye 306a minifoggerr atomizer on a mega 510 battery but I'm not too satisfied with the atomizer lifespan (about 10 days max) and i've tried the KR808 cartomizers but they easily burn.

I do think that this cartridge design with the puctured foil is the best i've seen because the atomizer has little contact with the filler (no risk of melted burnt fill materials) and the flavor was good. how are you refilling them-- i got a lot of leaking juice in the mouth problems when i tried.
