first 30 minutes of e smoking

So i got home from work and there in my mailbox was the package from katy at smokeless. Had to do a few chores before ripping that sucker open. Everything was there, got that ecig out of and tried it. Hmmm works better with a proper cartridge in .
Put in a cartridge, marl high. Tried again, hmmm nice taste, smoke comes out when i exhale, i could really get used to this. Been carrying it around for 30 minutes and now forced my self to put it down. Do have a nice littel head buzz going so figured it was a good time to stop.
I have 10 empty carts and a bottle of coffee flavor kick juice play with. Tomorrow should be a quiet day at work so guess what i'll be doing.

Nope, Katy's site says they come with batteries charged.

I did try the two spare batts on two different chargers, one wall and one usb and they came up charged on both.

The scary thing is that not only have I adopted e-cig speak as part of my everyday language, but my Mum (a non smoker, and only witnessed me e-cigging for the past 2 days) has also joined in.

I posted earlier about using my e-cig in a pet shop tonight, anyway, when we came outside my Mum said " I can't believe you were vaping away on your electronic cigarette and nobody noticed."

It was bad enough waiting for the us mail to deliver. Would of hated to have to watch it charge for 8 hours.

As for the dry vap, i did get something out of it at first. Guessing that was from the testing done before it was mailed. If i would of read the letter Katy put in the package first i would known to put a real cart in !!

Weegie Burd ... i gotta try some of that cash's cola soon. Maybe that'll be my next purchase.

I also received mt DSE901B ultimate starter kit from Katy at Thesmokelessshop.com recently. Actually last night. Fantastic starter kit for the money. I'm proud to say that I've been using it all day and only smoked 4-5 real cigs. I typically smoke a pack a day so it's a good start. The real cigs are actually starting to taste rather nasty which is a good thing in my book. My buddy at work was so impressed with the kit he actually ordered 7 of them for family members today. Katy if you're reading this, thanks for all of the great advice and a great product.

I also ordered the Cash Cola from puresmoker.com . Good Stuff. It could use a little stroger flavor in my opinion but it definitely tastes like the real thing. Can someone recommend another good juice to try? I was thinking about trying the riskee juice.

Real happy with the price and service from Katy. But like you i'm looking for some other flavours of juice and the riskee caught my eye too .

As for smoking analogs, last night i had two between 5:00pm and 11:00pm where i would normally smoke at least 6 to 8. Looking forward to today at work to see how that goes. Planning on keeping some analogs around for a bit just till i get fully used to esmoking. So far though i am impressed.

Good luck with your vaping experience UkUsa. I gave up smoking a few years ago because of the rising costs, but I've always enjoyed the smoking "experience" and never managed to kick the oral-fixation part.

I vape 50/50 PG/VG and flavor. MMmmMmmm.

Thanks for the reply Badseed, i'm glad that will be a benefit. Another benefit i found this morning is that i can drive to work with my windows closed. A definite plus when the temp is only 9f and snowing.

Ripley - I know what you mean about the fixation. With ecigs you still have that thing in your hands and the same motion right down to the inhaling.
I'm guessing i may get into diy mixing eventually. Right now i'm just shopping for flavours. Looking at the sampler pack from Johnson Creek. That looks like a good deal to me.

UkUsa, I have completely embraced the driving to work with the windows closed thing! I'm glad I'm not the only one seeing these little differences and the way e-cig's are improving our lives. It is the whole tactical experience that makes this work for me as well... I have to hold it, fuss with it, smoke it... I quit on Thanksgiving and have not had one analog since. I also dealt with Katy and she is super! The Johnson kit is a great deal and I have settled on the JC Original Tobacco as my daily vapor... Good Luck, Happy Holiday!

The JC Sampler is a good deal if you're just shopping for flavors. My better half purchased it and you get 10-1 dram (roughly 3.7ml) bottles. One of each flavor they have. There was some controversy about JC with some of their earlier blends, but she didn't have any trouble with hers. The 1dram is enough to let you get a real idea if you like the flavor or not, vape the other flavors out so to speak.

A nice plus, is the little bottles come with droppers and a are a good carry-size so once you do find that oh-so-perfect flavor you'll have good selection of re-fillables.

lol, i was super stoked when i realized i didnt have to open the window too. funny the little things that make us happier. i have riskee juice on order, poeple have been raving about it. im using menthol, and also thought flavor was a bit "light", but figured if they were strong, they could get too overpowering, and make us not want to vape...w'ell see if my taste buds "come around". i only smoked 3 analogs my first full day, and only 2 so far today(its 7 pm, been up since 6:30 am), and im not trying to pressure myself off them.

Right now i'm trying to get to grips with topping off carts. A new cart seems to last a decent time but then once i have to start topping off i can only get three drops before it is soaked but that doesn't seem to last so long. I'm sure that is something i'll figure out.

As for analogue smoking, the last oen i had wasat 3:30 and that was only the 4th one in a 24 hour period. So far so good.

Have you tried dripping a few drops on the atomizer when you top off? That seems to work the best for me.

I dry vaped mine for at least thirty minutes when I first got it... Funnily enough, it worked fine for that whole time period. I decided to change the cartridge when the vapor was next to nothing, and I was surprised when the 'cartridge' I was using was really just a tip.... Got mine from Puresmoker... Maybe steve did some dripping to test it out, and some was still in there.

Luckily, my atomizer still works.

Have you tried dripping a few drops on the atomizer when you top off? That seems to work the best for me.

Haven't tried dripping on the atomizer yet ..... kinda nervous on that. Maybe once i've got a bit more experience and some more spares.

Still not had another analogue since that last one at 3:30. Strange thing is i really don't want one either .... well i do kinda but then i don't.

Anyways ... kids are in bed ... time to hang stockings etc ....
