First attempts at syringe tanks

So with the help of this forum, I made a bunch of syringe tanks over the weekend and this is what i ended up with, I'd say they came out pretty well and I'm not getting any leaks. Thank you for all the threads that lead me to this point. Thanks for the links/videos that are available

It looks like you have that down pretty good.... now the next thing is you will need a gallon of juice to fill them all and have a big party where everyone will be vaping...

i found them from your link! Same eBay link you posted on one of your threads, they sell all black or a mix. I opted for the mix.
Strangely I'm getting rubber taste I believe..... so I will be moving on to polycarb..... shame now what am I going to do with all these tanks...

Geez! I didn't realize I could get the colored ones Lol. I got the rubber taste too using the ideal industries brand syringes from tractor supply, it was horrible! I got some regular medical (human) syringes from the hospital where I work. They have the flimsy plungers that aren't recommend but they work fine and there is no rubber taste at all. You don't have to throw away your cut tubes, its the plungers that give the rubber taste. Just get some regular 20cc syringes and the plungers work fine. They're not the most stable tank there is, its quite "slidey" but they work fine for home. And if you keep multiple tanks going, they're cheap!

And yes, they are computer case screws!

the endcaps on the syringe mods are the plungers that come with the syringe. You take an old carto and punch through it. It seals pretty good. I bought grommets from amazon.

The syringe plastic is superior to polycarb, more durable (it flexes) and is more resistant to crazing from eliquid.

Try soaking the rubber for awhile then let it sit for a few days outside in the sun.

I have to agree with the others on the syringle cap. I tried using other things for the caps, and in the end, the syringe plastic won. Sadly, I was using 3 ml syringe caps for my plugs, which had a tendancy to deteriorate and break up into my liquid, looked nasty. Then I started having wicking issues, either my holes were too big, or too small, even though the previous carto worked perfectly with the same hole. I ended up giving up on the carto-tanks. Good luck to you though.
