First bad vape ...

Been at this for over a month and have been delighted with the doz odd e-juices I had purchased and vaped ... until today.
Zeus e-juice Pomona Pear.
I am reading up on steeping and hopeful that this will help.
Has anyone tried this?

I requested the 30ml 24mg nic and two weeks shipping to arrive.
A few things I notice
- Label reads 0mg/0% born 9/19/2014
- I notice that the bottle came unsealed..
- The e-juice is a tan tea colour

I have a suspicion that the nic liquid may have been added at the retail end prior to shipping..
So second question is how does nic liquid taste?

I will not describe my taste experience yet as I would like to keep reference point free from your personal experience with this.

My wife got a bottle of Ponoma's Pear a little over a month ago. One of the worst juices I've tasted. No amount of steeping will help. Too awful to give away for free. Just toss it.

Verb: Really? Oh dear. DBZ: Got mine on-line. I have left cap opened for the last 24 hrs. Will wait 72 hrs. Already, the sickening burnt caramel scent seems to have ebbed a little. I wonder if it's the entire line or just the couple? I have the same strange aftertaste with the Aphrodite Affair.

Update: 72 hours cap opened and twice daily agitation, the juice ha taken a different character. It's quite palatable now - softer caramel tone with a medium roasted nuttiness. The pear is more a toasted brandy flambé, not the fruitiness you would associate with a fresh fruit.

I had the worst flavor experiences with MBV. Tasted ok but has a dishsoap aftertaste which made it barely vapeable.

It's strange, I have 10 flavors of MBV and I like them all. Must be different for everyone.

I've had some ups and downs with MBV too. A couple of their fruity juices have been chemical-tasting (for lack of a better term..."ucky" didn't see to fit right).

Hi, do you guys mean MBV as in Mt Baker Vapor?
I haven't tried MBV. Or is the Zeus brand made by the same people?
I read mixed reviews on MBV but mostly tha the confectionery section seems to be quite popular.
Lots to learn lots to discover!
I begin to realize that the fruit juices are touch and go for me.
The berries especially (yes, soap and detergent comes to mind .
I think I stick to to confections and dessert flavours for now.

oh, and Zeus Aphrodites Affair after steeping has mellowed.
Sharp and heavy bitterness is now gone.
Now it's just cough syrup.
Not for me but if Robitussin is your thing, give it a whirl

I have to agree...MBV has been my worst experience...I have a few bottles that are now a couple months old and still...ick. The only one I have found I can even cape is Gauva...the Irish Cream I got tasted like eating a stick of butter! Others I tried were just off...I tried to stick with "simple flavors" but no luck. I know lots of people like MBV...jut not for me, I guess. Same thing with ECBlends...not a juice I could cape! A friend recommended them to me and loves their juice so at least I was able to give ECB juices away to someone else. Honestly, have tried to give away the MBV but no one liked them! lol

I've only had two that I'd qualify as "bad" and both are from Subtle Mix Juice Co (Calgary, AB, Canada). The first one is Clove, which is usually my favourite. It had a Carl Buddig turkey aftertaste to it. It really was kind of gross because of the aftertaste. It doesn't even hit you immediately after. It's more like if you're vaping it, give it 30 mins to an hour and then the horror begins. The second is Flue Cured Tobacco. I'm sure there are people out there who would like it. I found it to be far too strong. It isn't even decent for mixing with other flavours. Even the smallest amount will completely overpower anything it's mixed with. If you're using anything but glass clearos/carts the flavour WILL stay around no matter how well you wash your stuff out and change coils. I think "Tank Tosser" would be apt.

Not all of Subtle Mix's flavours are bad though (I feel I must point this out). Some of them are really quite good. The Juicy Peach is very nice and the Honey Wood Tobacco is absolutely perfect for mixing with non-tobacco flavours to get a flavoured tobacco flavour.

I guess my brain is wired wrong...or, different people, different things.

Swedish Fish kid got it from a corner store not sure who made it. Tasted like melted candle wax & vape smelled like burnt rubber aweful

Except for MBV Irish Cream (big mistake) and Vanilla Ice Cream aka Wax. My opinion is dropping rapidly after this newest order. The Lemon Bar reminded me of Lemon Pledge. Gaah.
