15 watts for a 0.46 ohm Clapton is a bit low. Try going for 33 watts so that it give you 3.9v. This might, and since taste is always subjective, might unlock the full potential of your Clapton coil.

You might want to up your wattage to 35 watts to decrease the temperature ramp up time of your coil. Clapton are notorious for slow heat up and cool down time.

I noticed that u place ur coil higher then the air holes, does it helps in bring out the flavour better?

Hey man, yup I read it somewhere, the under airflow helps to bring out more flavor and since the coil are closer to the drip tip, you'll also get a warmer vape. Good for my Diy custard flavors. Closed off all the circular air hole and left the cyclops air hole about half way closed.

I tried 35w and the vapour came thick and quick!

While vapour increased, i felt that the flavour wasnt the same at the higher wattage, so i tried a range of wattages and ended up back at 15w where it tasted best. The juice is muffin man btw.

Dayum! I love that thick clapton. You must be able to generate the hugest clouds at 75w!

Not really a cloud chaser anymore, going for the flavors nowadays and just having fun in building the coils. On a sub tank mini RBA I find it hard to trap the leads with thicker wire. Maybe you can try using your 26 gauge and do a parallel build. For me on the sub tank RBA a simple nickel build at 0.17ohms gets me the best flavor and smooth warm draws between 480 to 540 degrees farenheit.

A parallel build would be interesting and i have some nickel as well which ive heard delivers top flavor. Im also lucky enough to have got my hands on Bellus so im looking foward to a dual clapton coil on that. Id love to have the space of an RDA though!

Using the same wire as TS, 6 rounds, bout .29 ohms. Firing it at 45w on my velocity RDA with Cloudy Heaven's Creamy Melon. Marvellous!

Sounds like a great combo! I like melon flavours as well. Just made a melony DIY batch up a couple of days ago. It is not fully steeped but I had have a little taster today. It is actually pretty good!

Will try it out!
