Finally got all the stuff I needed, an RDA, a Mech mod and some DIY high VG e-liquid. Got a 0.2ohm dual 26 gauge micro coil build on my freakshow RDA atop a nemesis clone. Holy..... I need more airflow.... This is the first build where i've gone below 0.3 ohms and its working wonderfully. Anyone got any suggestions for some nice 0.2 ohm builds with 26 gauge?

So nice to finally have a mech mod and RDA now though, well worth the wait. Using the efest purple batteries which I know theres a lot of discussion about but I don't intend to push them anywhere near their so called 35 amp limit and with no voltage drop on a fully charged battery it would be at 21 amps. Considered going low but i'm not comfortable doing that yet as I'm still fairly new to making my own coils. Also anyone else use rayon? Ordered some with the stuff I needed for my DIY e-liquid and I honestly can't notice a difference between that and Japanese cotton.

Oh juice is an 80/20 VG/PG and I've got a 100% VG liquid steeping =D

if your thinking of going hotter, try a dual twisted 26ga build around 3/32 id, you will get more wick coverage with it and no doubt better flavour than single strand.

here is a good vid on wicking hotter builds," Yosh Vapergate">>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1hqRp9TDDE

and you have ,"Twisted Messes" also on youtube, has some bloody great builds that will keep you occupied for a long time.

apart from they two guys i also check rip trippers vids for any new builds but i think i've done em all so far.

Good Luck & Stay Safe :)

There doesn't seem to be much difference between rayon and cotton to me until I realized I can easily run 60 mills through without a rewick some people have gotten over a hundred mills without rewicking... Can't do that with regular cotton. And at least to me when you go super subohm it's better to wrap on 1/8 bit, dry hits are much less sneaky lol

My drill bits are in MM. So 1/8 bit is 3.125, I think the coil I did was 2mm. I wicked it badly the first time on one of the coils and was getting a dry hit from one of them. Not entirely used to getting the wick size right with the way rayon comes, I'm used to sheets of cotton as I know good sizes to cut off for each coil diameter. I may give a twisted build a try, I bought a boat load of 26 gauge kanthal and rayon when I got my DIY e-liquid stuff.

I'm running 28 over 22 claptons, and their flavour and vapour output are unmatched. You could try 28/24, 30/24, or something like that. I wouldn't recommend making the core smaller than 24ga, as it struggles to keep its shape then. Just be sure your post holes are big enough to accomodate something that large, and that the inner chamber of your atty will fit a coil that big.
You could also try parallel coils with the 26ga. Surprisingly good vapour, but the flavour is a tad muted imo.
