The first few days are the hardest or least were for me. After a week I started not liking all the tobacco juices I had and was lucky to find a vape store within a hour from me. Samples were there to try and I found the fruit flavors were my favorite. I too was a menthol cig smoker. I think the menthol cigs are even more evil/addictive. Now I can get nicotine and taste fruit flavors and not nasty tobacco. Nicotine is a physical and mental addiction. Analogs are chemically engineered to be as addictive as possible. What your doing is the best decision you have probably made in a while. Stick with it and it gets easier. I've been reading for weeks but still so much to learn. I can tell you this there are some great people here very knowledgeable and supportive.

Hey kristlynngirl you're less than 100 miles from a B & M over in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Altsmoke carries 808 and 510 stuff, plus they have a juice bar so you can sample flavors before you buy. That'll save you quite a bit of time a $$$ if you can find some you like. You'll probably run into other vapers while you're there too, I always do.

Their address and hours are on this page AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs.

Hang in there. I've been vaping for 9 months but still can not totally get off the analogs. I am going to try going up to a 24mg juice to see if that will be my turning point. Every time I light up an analog I curse myself and realize I am really not getting much satisfaction out of it anymore. It's just got to be a huge mental boulder I can not push out of the way yet.
Right now I am vaping a Sugar Pear (Got Vapes) / Peach (Backwoods Brew) mix. My real favorite is 2X Espresso from Vape Rite mixed with Belgium Cocoa (Halo) and a touch of Raspberry (Vape Rite). Hardware at the moment is a bottom coil Phoenix from Got Vapes with an ego battery. Awesome flavor reproduction compared to all the other hardware I have tried. Also have a Pro Vari.
Keep experimenting till you find your sweet spot. I have spent tons of money on various hardware and juices. A lot of the juices went down the drain and most of the hardware went in the trash. But I still probably spent less than if I were still 2+ packs a day. But the money is not the issue right now. Getting totally off the analogs is my goal.

Well done you! Lots of companies do little sample bottles (about a weeks's worth) which is a good way to try. You may find, like me, that your brain eventually accepts that you are addicted to nicotine, not the tobacco delivery system you had no choice but to use, up until now. Once that happens you get to choose a flavour you would like normally, without the connotations of 'smoking'. For me, that's toffee - all day long with no calories. :)

Well done... keep coming here for support, and success is the only option. (You are ALREADY a huge success!) It's great that so many people are kicking the tobacco companies where it hurts. Here's hoping that there are a few of them going bust in the very near future, as a direct result of the e-cig revolution.
If you haven't looked already, I highly recommend the 'E-cig success stories' section on here.. many highly inspirational tales.
Happy vaping!
