I've gradually worked down from a pack and a half each day since I got my eGo on Christmas - first went down to 3/4 pack, then 1/2, then just a few - the last few days I was down to that one in the morning and one or two before going to bed.

This morning I was able to distract myself from having that one essential morning cigarette by just vaping like crazy while I made my coffee - I just refused to let go of the ecig, and kept refilling until I got distracted enough with my work...This just might be the first time in 25 years that I have not had a cigarette in 24 hours...Let's hope I hang in there!

Congratulations - you deserve accolades. Breaking this horrible habit is no easy task, I don't care what anyone says. Keep this in mind - if you can go analog free for today, tomorrow will be 100% easier. Prove to yourself you can do it, and that your PV is all you need for satisfaction. I can't say that there are not some tough days once some of the "quit symptoms" set in, but the improvement in the way you feel far outweights these minor inconveniences. Stick with it. I used to smoke 1 to 1.5 packs a day and my experience in quitting has been more than rewarding. Keep us updated, be proud of yourself for your kickass accomplishment, and keep up the good work!

Wow, I am just blown away by all the positive posts from everyone, thank you all so much!

Of course, it is the supportive community here that can really share the credit for this - how could I have figured out where to buy great juice, how to clean my atty, how many drops to use, etc., without the great people here? The ecig community has to be one of the best examples of what people can accomplish at their best - innovative products, imaginative entrepreneurs, people excited about improving their lives and sharing their knowledge with others - I would have to win the lottery to feel any luckier or more grateful!

Besides, how could I POSSIBLY light an analog today after reading the posts in this thread?! You guys are saving my life...

I was intending to purchase the ego or the Boge Royal along with some juices, But I heard today that FDA are not allowing shipments of E-cigarettes or E-cig related product. I am afraid to order a product and not receive it. I was under the impression that some products where FDA approved. Does any one know where to oder E-liquid that the FDA will not seize?

"FDA Agent said that they are holding any and all e cigarette shipments that they find".(FDA seize Shipments Forum)
