Hey there, so I ordered this eGo from liberty flights, and that was on the 22nd, at about 10pm at night. And holy :censored:, it already came today in the afternoon, but I wasn't home to use it till bout an hour ago. I am using the carts that came with it, MLB -high? They kinda taste like :censored:, but not to bad. First thing I noticed is my craving for cigs has pretty much been non-existant in this past hour, which is sweet. I've already packed up my blu cig that i've had for a week, and it sucks, but ill ship it out tomorrow for my refund.

I have a few questions though...
So I bought 2 empty cartomizers, but I forgot to add the syringe to the order. Am I basically screwed on filling these until I get a syringe?

And second,
Not sure if its a big deal or not, but before doing anything when I opened up the package I put one of those MLB cartridges it came with and put it on the atty and starting vaping...not sure if I should need to do anything to the atty to break it in? If so, then i'll do that with my 2nd complete I havent used yet.

edit;
Also, i just took off the cone from the one i've been using, and a ton of liquid is leaking from the part where the atty and cartridge connect, is that normal? there all on tight...but not to tight to where I forced it.

sweet :) im waiting on an eGo myself, from a different supplier but all the same. hope my shipping is like yours was lol. one little hint on the syringes tho, if you do find yourself needing or just wanting to use them you dont have to order them. in my area "feed stores" or any farm supply style store sells them. I buy mine from Agway all the time and have never paid more than a dollar at any local spot

Enree - Thanks! I'll check those out, and try and tweak it.

Stutzy - Hey, I actually think it's just the flavor being just turrable. It doesn't taste burnt or like there's something wrong...just turrable taste hahah

Covetous - Oh ok, well either way should work for me. On Liberty Flights they're only 79 cents :] You should enjoy your eGo a lot!

It's all good man :) I dont even know how many flavors ive went thru now. some of them I wouldnt even give away. Just have to order around and find that good one. Do the small bottles like 5mil and try em out. Most hardware sellers use kinda blah china juice. Even some of that i like mixed in to stretch out my flavors. Look at Madvapes.com :0

The bad flavor and liquid leaking out could be the primer on the atty that its shipped with. Did you blow out the atty before you started? I would take off the atty, blow it out, and wipe off the threaded end of the battery. Put your cartridge back on and start again. You might notice the flavor being better.

Glad to hear you're enjoying your new eGo. Congratulations!

That could be it. And nope I didn't do any prep to the atty. I'll do that real quick and see if I notice any change. Thanks!

Oh yea...that definetly helped! taste is much more clear. thanks again trouble!

Glad to hear it's tasting better. I didn't quite have enough coffee when I read your first post and realize now that you are concerned about the liquid around the cart/atty connection. That's fairly typical when using carts. They tend to get a "condensate" build up on them. It can effect the draw a bit if you don't take it off every once in a while and wipe it off.

You mentioned that you bought cartomizers with the set up. Did you get some extra liquid to go with it also? Did you check out refilling the carts with a different flavor? Those prefilled ones aren't very good. You can also take the filler out of one of your carts, use it as a drip tip, and be able to direct drip on the atty so you can try the different flavors of liquid (just remember to blow out the atty in between).

Yea, it was leaking a lot, but I blew the atty clear, for like 5 minutes, and got 4 big drops of liquid that was in there, so thats good, wiped it all down so there was none of that factory liquid. Also when I took off the cart the filler was stuck on the atomizer, so I kinda just shoved it back in the cart, seems to be workin fine though....

And yea I bought 2 empty cartomizers, with 2 5ml bottles of mint and menthol smooth. I can't find a way to fill the cartomizers without a syringe though. Kinda sucks...

I have no idea what 'drip tipping' is either ;p

Dripping is when you drip 2-3 drops of liquid directly on the bridge of the atomizer. You don't have to fuss with filler, etc.. to vape. A drip tip is simply a mouthpiece that sits on top of the atty to make it more comfortable and convenient to drip. Try this: take off your atty and blow it out again, remove the filler from the cartridge that you are using, then put your atty back on and drip 3 drops of liquid directly on the bridge. Place the empty cart back on the atty (make sure it is lined up properly so you don't melt it) and vape away. You should get 7-10 good draws off it before it loses flavor/vapor or gets a burnt taste. Then drop another 2-3 drops on the atty and repeat the whole process.

The cart is just being used as the mouthpiece for this. An actual drip tip is open and allows you to drip without having to remove it in between refills. If you decide you like this method (most of us to prefer it over using carts) then take one of the carts and trim a small amount off of the bottom so you don't have to look in and line it up each time you refill. If you start getting a gurgling sound or no flavor/vapor production, you might have flooded it. Blow it out if that happens. Dripping takes a little practice, but it tends to be the preferred method of a lot of vapers to get the best experience.

Oh alright. Doesn't sound like something I would want to do, but I'll give it a go to test it out. So is there any way to fill my cartomizers without a syringe?

I know, dripping sounds kinda wierd and like a hassle when you first hear about it:) You don't have to get into it right away, but once you have fiddled around with carts, filler, and topping them off all of the time, dripping ends up being easier in the long run. Cartomizers are great for the times when you are out and about or driving, etc...But, dripping seems to give you the best flavor and vapor production.

Filling the cartomizer without a syringe?? I know I've seen a few posts from people who have accomplished it. Maybe someone else can chime in with an answer. If I remember right, some people have dripped the liquid slowly in through the hole on the battery end.

Happy Thanksgiving !

"Also when I took off the cart the filler was stuck on the atomizer, so I kinda just shoved it back in the cart, seems to be workin fine though...."..since you are using cartridges you can just drop liquid onto the filler material,,,just till it starts to look "slushy" , then repalce the cart and vape !

What cartomizers did you get ??

Ohh ok, thank you ;]

And I got the eGo ones, not sure the exact name...but they're big, hold 2ml

edit;
And it's alright if I take the filler out of one of the cartridges that came with the kit, and rinse it out in the sink, then let it dry right? I don't wanna mix that nasty ... flavor with mint
You are about to find out that once you get your ego carts filled the juice you got 2 5 ml bottles isn't gonna last long!! They are SUPER JUICE HOGS--but boy o boy what a hit:) :vapor::vapor::vapor:
