so I finally got my DIY supplies in. I've been a menthol tobacco vapor for about 9 months now, before that I was strictly addicted to the fruit flavors. Anyway I was thinking of making a 60 percent VG and 40 percent pg mix with either 20 mg or 15 mgs nicotine. I know most people use about 2% of the FA Virginia but i was thinking about bumpin it to 4, maybe i could reduce steep time that way but maybe it will be too strong. Not rewlly sure yet. Anyway i have about 8 hours before i make this so any suggestions i have time to consider :) I'm not a complete novice to making DIY type chemical formulas as I ran a not so legal business that had a bunch of similarities to DIY juice in the past.. Anyway I ordered FA Virginia flavoring and about a quarter ounce of menthol crystals which I turned into menthol drops last night. It was pretty fun! I know that everyone uses the drops differently and says they had either 1,2,4 drops whatever the case maybe but I am more of a man of science and if somebody can give me an estimate of what one drop is in milliliters I would be much appreciated for that bit of information so that I can have a more exact calculation. I'm also not a fan of waiting 3 weeks for a juice to steep and I was originally thinking of making a small 10ml batch but now I'm thinking possibly making a 30 ml batch and if it tastes like crap well at least I'll somehow be able to make it through 30 mls as its not that much. The 30 milliliters will also give me enough time to prepare another batch and have that steep while im going through my first and can make adjustments to my original formula if it sucks. If any menthol tobacco vapers out there have any suggestions or would change anything I'm completely open to suggestions and am always grateful for the great advice i get here.

As someone who vapes menthol tobacco flavors daily, I have a bottle of NicQuid "Menthol Burst" liquid that you add to your mix. I add it to my tobacco juices from one to two drops per ml of e-liquid. One of my favorite ADVs is:

Flavor Apprentice RY4D 8.5%
Acetyl Pyrazine 1%
Vape Wizard .5%
PG 75%
VG 25%
Nicotine 15mg/ml
Menthol Burst 1.5 drops/ml

After about 6 hours of ultrasonic vibration and maybe a week of sitting after that, this tastes AWESOME. Seems very close to somewhere between Halo Torque 56 and Halo Tribeca, with a menthol kick. GOOD STUFF! :2c::vapor:

The size of the dropper as well as the temperature & viscosity of the liquid determine how many drops per milliliter. I use my dropper--you use yours. Think of a drop as a pinch.

For speed steeping, many people use an ultrasonic cleaner and/or hot water. Some even zap in the microwave in pulses of just a few seconds.

It's easier to measure larger batches but it takes longer to steep. Tobacco, coffee, chocolate, dark heavy flavors take longer to steep and complicated flavors--like how chili tastes better the next day.
