So the pipe bug bit me. I received my smok E-Pipe today as well as a tobacco pipe from Amazon. I got to tinkering while enjoying the smok and ended up with this.

Had a spare smok DCT tank and attached it to the 510 connector from my broken MVS mini that is hot glued to the shank of the pipe. I bored out the bowl with a 9/16 spade bit and ran the wires to the bowl. The Positive side is soldered to a small magnet and the ground is soldered to a small brass picture hanger hook that I press to make contact. Works well and I asked my Wife is I was "Vaping like a Sir"? She replied, "Yes dear, you look fabulous."

I'll take that to mean that I can order a real one in the future. ;)

Thanks to everyone in the "Big" thread that I've been reading for the past 4 days. I have a churchwarden stem en route and have bookmarked several E-Pipe makers with plans to order soon.

it"s rigged. but it works well.

I've got another button design that works, but am having trouble getting everything to stay together as I assemble the pipe. I've tried 3 times now, and think I am just going to start over from scratch since I'm having to solder wires together now to make them long enough.
Here are some photos before I started running into trouble:

the silver "button" has a spring soldered to it. It clips into the black ring which has the positive wire from the button. The teeny tiny black dot next to pipe is a 6mm x 6mm momentary switch. Running about 1/2" around the inside of the black ring is the wire from the button so that when the silver button is pressed into the black ring it makes contact with both the battery and the wire from the button.

Is that button rated for the amount of current you'll be pushing through it in this circuit?
