Looks good! You might wanna order more flavors soon usually DIYers start branching out in the flavor department, I now use flavors that I thought I would hate when I first started vaping ha. Glad you went with the 36mg nicotine to get your feet wet instead of the higher strengths, its safer that way when your new to DIY. Have fun when you receive your order! Mixing has been such a really great hobby that its become a way of life for me now. Keep detailed notes of everything you use, drops, percentages, etc because theres nothing worse than making a great tasting juice and not knowing exactly what you put into it (has happened to me several times ha). Also check out ejuice calculators to figure out the sizes and strength you want to make. If you decide you want to try more flavors HighDesertVapes sells a ton of them in small sizes to try out first before committing to the bigger more expensive bottles. Have fun and be safe! :)

between here and there
Hi.
The only thing I don't see is gloves and possibly some safety glasses. I know 36mg isn't as dangerous at 48mg or 60mg, ect. But you should get into the safety at all times comes first mode when using higher nic than you vape. It is a good practice. Eventually when/if you decide to purchase a stronger mg/ml you will already have the procedures down to a science.

Other than that it looks great. BTW, either of those items I mentioned can be gotten at wm or target or lowes....lol

:)

Start with what you have and see if DYI is for you before investing lots of cash. I've seen people get fustrated and give up after investing hundreds. Not a great feeling to have invest so much and give up after a few failed batches.

Also take some time to do a little reading.

Read my blogs before getting started

E-Cigarette Forum - dannyv45 - Blogs

then read hoosier's blogs.

then read the stickies at the top of the page.

this will explain a lot of the how's and why's.

Well, you shouldn't run short of pg and vg soon. ;) BTW, I'm not buying anymore Walmart/drugstore glycerin. While it's USP, it's not labeled as vegetable glycerin i.e. likely from animal sources. Much better IMHO to buy vegetable glycerin USP.

How are you planning to mix your recipes? You'll want to mix thoroughly. What's working well for me is 80ml beaker and battery-operated milk frother (~$5). I mix for ~3-4 minutes then pour to bottle using beaker's pour spout. Have also used beaker's markings to measure directly when pouring 100% VG for larger batches. Optional but helpful.

I find I'm also using multiple gauges of blunt needles: 14g - VG, 16g - PG, 20g - flavors. Likely, you can't draw VG through anything smaller than 14g. I water-rinse same needle between flavors (i.e. swish in cup of water) but always use different needles for VG and nic.

Since mostly mixing test batches, syringes sizes most used are 1ml and 3ml (plus assorted larger). Get some extras as they fail over time.

Good luck!

I find a nice size shot glass or even a 1 cup measuring glass cooking cup are nice in place of a beaker.

AS for the order, it looks good for your first try, I would suggest you order more flavors over time but also try all the different brand names too. Cappella is the only flavoring i use anymore, I spent about $100 bucks on other brands struggling to find any flavor I liked or could vape at all, I then I realized Cappella was the only one for my taste.

Above everything else have fun with it!

Thank you all for the advice. I am looking forward to my first venture into making my own liquid...both the successes and the failures.

I have a box full of safety equipment (gloves, eye protection, full face masks and aprons) from when I did acid glass etching. Figure that will keep me safe.

I am planning on starting out with 5ml batches in the 15ml bottles to experiment with different percentages of flavors and additives. Figure the extra space in the bottles with help with mixing/oxidation. I'll be using a 110v massager to heat and shake the bottles to help with steeping. It can warm to 135deg and run for an hour at a time.

I purchased more PG and VG than I needed for mixing the nicotine down to 16/18mg because I am planning on doing hot and cold extraction of flavor from Black & Mild cigars. Test kit!! Thank you, that's one of the things I forgot to order. Going to want to test the nicotine level in the B&M flavor extractions.

There are only a couple things I don't see that you might want in the future- some 1ml and/or .5ml syringes. I don't use the ones with the needle. Some people like to add acetyl pyrazine to tobaccos. Personally I dislike it even in small amounts well diluted but ymmv. Some tobaccos might benefit from a drop or two of apple cider vinegar. I do that very rarely but it's good to have in the toolkit.
It does look like a great start.
