Hey, first of all, I'm new here and have been perusing for a while. It seems like a terrific forum for all E Smoking needs.
I'm posting because I have a concern and wonder if anyone else experiences this. I recently purchased an X Hale O2 E Cigarette from 7/11. A lot of times when charging it, I'll unplug it to take a few drags. The first drag is always really nice and thick in terms of vapor, but then I run into my issue. All the drags after it are almost vaporless!:(
Has anyone else experienced this? I suspect it may be an issue of power regarding the charge of my battery. Just looking for input, thanks in advance!

In a pile of sawdust
I have a few good friends that bought kits from 7/11, I tried theirs and they didn't have much good things to say. That started me on my research and led me here. I bought an EGO at first then quickly realized that to get the vapor I was looking for, rather than try a bunch of other pv's I moved straight into a mechanical mod, I must say IMO that was the best move on my part and could not be happier vaping away since. ;)

I actually really enjoy my XHale. It looks like a regular cigarette, doesn't get odd looks in public, and, when on a full battery and cartridge, produces some nice vapor. I put a metal custom cartridge on it that I made, doubles as a drip device. I just have this one vapor issue as mentioned above. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Additionally, does anyone have anything to say about the XHale's battery life? I was wondering what other people think...

Give it a while and you wont care about the size or looks you get. You should see the looks I get huffing on mine but who cares what others think, those that know me think it's a great thing LOL

mods are the way to go in terms of battery life. i've been going 2-3 days lately on one 18650 in my Silver Bullet.

edit: i've got the silver vein Silver Bullet and i haven't noticed any weird looks when using it out in public.

Mines a bit larger than yours, almost 8" w/ the AVS juice tank and kind of gurgles like a ...., but I love the performance! LMAO

You should get another battery so you can fully charge, and use one while you charge the other.

But generally, small really cigarette sized PV's have batteries that drain quicker than units with longer fatter batteries. I have a small PV (M402).

Does the XHale have proprietary cartridges - a pointy atty that pierces a cartridge seal? That sort of locks you into their carts unless you can figure out what model's battery it is and use regular atty and carts for that model. re vaporless - if almost vaporless even when you get a good drag maybe they are using pure PG base juice. When you can buy your own juices you can choose from a lot of vendors and get juices with some VG in them. PG is TH, VG is more visible vapor. Popular ratios are 70pg/30vg, 80pg/20vg and some like 50/50. Also, if you hold your inhale or breath in extra after it, there won't be much visible vapor when you exhale.

Another thing, if you keep using the same atty without cleaning it, it will not perform as well and can taste harsh. I have 2 attys and each weekend I swish and leave the one I've been using in a jar of alcohol. the next day I swish and take it out, shake it out and lay it on paper towels to dry. The next weekend I switch to the clean dry one and put the used one into the alcohol. Before using, I prime the dry one with drips/drips.

Also, since I'm using normal carts with the M402, I only use the stuffing they come with until it stops absorbing well, then i remove it and put in a trimmed piece of blue foam instead (it's a blue marine foam - Marineland Rite-size U). When the cart is full with that stuff it flows better.

I just saw the stuff you listed...

Re the stuff you listed - 510 mega batteries are supposed to last well - that should give you a good hit. Though I have heard if you are looking for taste, a KR808D-1 standard or xl battery with a DSE901 atty and drip tip may be a bit better. But either should give you bigger hits than what you've getting. You should check with a 510 person to make sure that atty is right for megabattery. As a bonus, I think everything 510 you listed except the battery and charger could be used if you eventually got yourself an Ego with the really long lasting flared battery.
