Hello! I am new to the forums and vaping and I wanted to share some of my initial experiences. I have been smoking since I was fourteen and I am now twenty eight, so I've been a smoker for a long time. I currently smoke anywhere from a pack to a pack and a half a day. I saw commercials for the Blu e-cig and my local smoke shop began to carry them. I heard a lot of good things about e-cigs from former smokers, but I was apprehensive for a long time since they where a new thing and I didn't know if they could possibly be harmful. I finally did the research and found that while they certainly not good for you, they are a lot less harmful then analogs.

So finally one day I decided to try a Blu deposable. It wasn't the greatest thing ever and it made me realize that Blu probably wasn't the best brand out there. They seem to put a lot more into marketing and a lot less into making a product that produces the same feel as a traditional analog. So I did some more research and from various reviews I thought the 510T from Joye would be a perfect fit. I went to Joyes website and checked out their list of venders, which was how I found Good Vapes.

I placed my order for their delux kit and some juice and waited patiantly for a few days. I was so excited when it came I ripped into the package like a kid on Christmas. I quickly realized that here was my juice but no kit. I kept looking through the packing materials like come on it has to be here, but sadly it wasn't. So I call Good Vapes and they apologize and say they will overnight it and send me a free thing of juice, but since it was after 3pm it wouldn't arrive Friday, but it would be here by Saturday. I was like ok cool, I was upset but they were going to fix it. Well Saturday rolls around and guess what? Still not here.

I call yet again and they apologize and say they are going to call their shipping companey. They get back in touch with me and mumble out some excuse about how they did all they could but the shipping company got behind and it's out of their hands. I am extremely upset at this point because this was almost a hundred bucks I spent, I told him you can't blame the shipping company, it is your responsibility as the vender to use a reliable service and if they hadn't screwed it up in the first place it would be here. I told him good luck with his business but I will never ever use Good Vapes again.

The 510T finally got here today and despite the vender being crappy the product itself it awesome. Love the manual battery, it feels just like smoking a cigarette, and the taste is awesome. I plan on investing in a better battery as soon as Instart running low on juice. Does anyone have any preferred venders they can suggest? Also what is everyones favorite battery that fits a 510T?

Hello and welcome! Sorry your first go around with an online vendor didn't pan out well. Some of my trusted vendors are Madvapes, AltSmoke, and Ljesmokes. There are a TON of other great vendors, but I can't speak for all of them. As far as batteries for your 510T.... the sky is the limit. That's such a universal connection, that just about any battery is going to fit it, as long as it is a 510. You would probably be okay starting with an Ego type battery. Down the road I'm sure you will graduated to more fancy, bigger, better mods and variable voltage devices.

Good Luck!!

I started with a blu cig myself, a couple weeks later I ordered a 510 kit and I was completely blown away, ego was the next step for me and i used those for almost a year, Im using mods and APV's now

Sorry to hear about your vendor experience, you'll find that there are quite a few out there who will do almost anything to make sure their end customer is happy

Welcome to ECF. I think we all have ran into some kind of problem with a vendor in some sort of way and it does leave a lasting impression. If you look at the sub-forums you will see both a Negative and Positive review section for Vendors. Take a look at them and you will notice trends of both good and bad.

Now kick back, light up (hahahahha) vape up and browse that section for recommendations from your fellow vapers here at ECF.
