First E cig not firing

Hello, I bought my first ever mod today. It's a Xcube Ultra with the baby beast tank. However, I have connected everything and it's not firing. The menu screen is working so obviously it's on, just wondering if anyone had any advice? when I fire it on the screen it goes up from 0 v to 0.01v so obviously thats not right.

Would appreciate any kind of help!

Are you using wattage/power mode, not TC mode? 'Cause I think the heads that come w/your atty are not for TC.

What resistance does the mod see?

thanks for replying, I've attempted wattage mode and TC and had a look through all the various settings but can't see anything within them that could be causing it. Here are 2 pictures of the display when it's not firing and when it's firing, just incase you can see anything form the display that looks off!

My first thought was that the resistance was too low, but the mod goes down to 0.06ohm. What resistance should the coils be?

OK, I'm guessing you're using the 0.15 quad coils. Have you tried another coil in the tank? Do you have any other tanks you can test on the mod?

yeah they are the coils im using. Ive tried another tank and that doesn't work either, however the tank works on another battery. took it to a vape shop today and they said theyve never come accross this issue before. Very strange!

I was thinking maybe the 510 connectors arent connecting properly. However the display picks up on when the atomoizer is connected so I guess it can't be that.

If you are using good batteries, you may have a defective device.
Can the X be reset or firmware re flashed?

Since the resistance is reading, I think you have a duff device. Return it

It's a long shot cause it's reading .15, but if you remove the atty, does it complain about the atty not being connected?

If not, maybe you have a short in the 510?
