First ECF Thread

Hello All,

I sure have enjoyed reading ECF threads and researching all the different vendors, styles, products, innovations, and watching countless hours of video reviews. I think you guys are on to something and I can't wait to purchase my first 808 and hopefully a mod too. I'm for sure getting a USB passthrough, no brainer. I also refuse to buy the crap they sell in the mall or the gas station. I'm just not even going there. I want to quit smoking my nicotine. It just plain stinks. I'm very thankful for an environment like ECF. I hope we can all, once and for all, end smoking!

Ah my first purchase was a mall purchase, a kr808d-1 to be exact.LOL, it wasn't crap still using it a couple years later, I just know now that I paid way too much for it!

I'm glad to hear it wasn't a total loss. Those vendors in the mall are hiking prices so high, it's shameful. I would think everyone in their right mind would want to help smokers quit, not rip them off.

After you think you have read enough or watched enough, keeping reading and watching. I will say though that there are just some things that you won't think about or know about or even think to ask about till you have experienced them. A bit of a learning curve, but stick with it.

I believe its all gonna come down to how bad you want to quit smoking. I gave a KR808 kit to a good friend and he stopped smoking within 2 weeks and says that he barely uses the KR but still carries it around "just in case" he needs a smoke. He really loved it.

Welcome to ECF and to being a non-smoker. I have spent plenty of money on several different pv's and in my case I am grateful to every penny spent. No matter how bad or good a pv has been, whatever has kept me off analogs has my vote, and all of them have!

Welcome to ECF. I started with an 808 and it wasn't enough for me. I don't regret the purchase though because it showed me the technology.

Welcome to ECF. The KR808D-1 style e cig is very good to get you started. Its what i started e cigs on.
