I posted this in the General Media and News section, but not too many members read that subsection ( mods you can delete one of the threads if you want )

Flavorart has been working with Fem2 Ambiente, an offshoot of The University of Milan, on their Clearstream project for a few years. Apparently their first batch of " approved " liquids will be hitting the market soon. It seems this only applies to their finished eliquid though and not the flavorings with which we are more familiar in the U.S.

I'm not sure if this is the type of testing the FDA will require if the deeming regs become effective, but it's interesting that an Italian company is doing this. The liquids have apparently been tested for toxicity, electric resistance and inflamation, and a score is given for each test !?

Here's an example of test results for one liquid :
BOOSTER | E-liquid 10ml with nicotine » ClearStreamOnward

The FDA will require accurate standardized labels just like you find on food and supplements.
They won't require any special ingredients or tests.

I could care less what their tests say.
That's all advertising.

I want to know exactly what's in it.

Information appreciated.

Not so sure labeling will help most people, beyond security blanket, as many never get past - Yep, says right here on the side what is in there.(not having a clue as to what any of it is)
People know Red Dye #2 BAD - but no idea why.(what it is composed of)
A point well proven when almost all Red products were removed from market because people only understood - Red=Bad  Took a while to get past that one.

Is that in the leaked deemings ? Do you have a link ? I remember hearing in a podcast Dmitris saying that he believes testing would be required for liquid registration, based on his talks with FDA. But that was many months ago, and things might have changed since then.

All due respect, whether you " care less about what tests say " does not matter to the FDA.
