I filled it all the way up to max on the scale and it flooded and leaked onto the battery. Blew it out and tried again about 4 times - no change. I then tightened the head tight and took out some juice so that it was about at 1.6 ml on the scale. Same deal. I then tightened the tip a bit tighter than I like and the leaking mostly stopped and it is working fine now, except it is still wetting the battery slightly. juice is 70/30 pg/vg, on a Kgo-vv at 3.8 v. Head meters around 2 ohms. I lay the pv down on it's side between drags.

I've read some threads about this and know it happens sometimes with T2's. However, in the interest of shortening the learning curve is there anything else you would recommend I try, is there anything I'm missing? I tend to vape clearos almost horizontal to keep the wicks wet which works well with the Vision Stardusts I use. Am now keeping it more vertical to see if this helps. Do you think it is leaking through the wicks into the center tube or is the issue somewhere else?

Any thoughts will be much appreciated :)

Hi bigsmke,
Ive been using Kanger T2 since Sept. 1 and have not had any leak on battery...not a drop.
After 3 months of abuse i managed to get a leak from the plastic tank.
I try to keep everything upright, and only tilt to use or if i know the liquid level is such that it cant enter "joints".
All these devices are pieced together and can leak if not made right.
Let me know if you dont have good results keeping it upright.....i got my original in pieces.

Hi Bigs..I'm new to the KT2's but I found when I chain vape using 1.8ohms @ 4v will make my T2's warm and leak slightly in the batt. That's when I know to back off. I don't know if this may be an issue but have you checked the mouthpiece for cracks?

Thanks mecocina! No cracks on the mouthpiece. Good point about chain vaping. I'll check that out. Happy new year :toast:

Thanks JUDGMENT AFFIRMED! Good to hear you are having good luck with yours. Mine performed quite well last night after I posted. This morning it needed a blow-out and has been pretty good so far today. I'll find something I can stand it upright in for the rest of the day and tonight and see if that helps. I will let you know if that doesn't fix it. Happy new year :toast:
