i must say, i'm pleased with my purchase. i was getting a bit paranoid about DOA items, bad performance, the like...but Puresmoker.com really came through. honestly, people love a good company with great customer service above all...it's always about the customer. well, i've only made 2 orders and neither were mucked up, and i didn't have to contact them at all. to me, THAT is customer service. you do it right the first time with no foul ups, that's golden.
of course, being there to help afterwards is awesome as well, just saying i've not needed that yet.
also, the guys were cool enough to send me more business cards. i tried to ask before my order was shipped, but they were so quick, they just said they'd send me some later. and wow, they sent a decent stack of them, FOR FREE. obviously i'm hyped about the product and getting off regular cigarettes, and i will hype the company that helps me. and now, PS is doing it for me.
haha, hate to sound like i'm swinging from the jock of puresmoker, but with all the sellers out there, and the difficult decisions and bad decisions that could have been made, i chose them and don't regret it.
now, as for the cig...
it's different.
i'd tried a friend's before, i think it was a 103? one of the weird generics (yeah they're all chinese whatever) that no one seems to use or have. i think it leaked a lot, bc i remember the vapor tasting more...liquidy. like breathing steam. or...was it the juice? he was using JC cured, it did have a good flavor, just...misty...compared to my Pilot.
now, it's taken about...well, a few puffs last night after charging, and all day off and on, but no heavy use...and i feel the atomizer is working a little smoother now that i'm "breaking it in." that's an argument in itself i'm sure, but to me, it feels better.
the transition is...a bit of a step, because it's so similar and still so different. i was never a heavy "dragger" anyway, mainly a pull, quick inhale and out, so with this i'm really pulling harder than i'm used to (insert foul joke here) but also by increasing the pull, the flavor is much better.
i guess my current dilemma is finding the best way to inhale and to even hold it in my mouth. with real cigs my lips never wrapped around the .... (insert 2nd dirty joke) but just barely touched the edge to my lips. i hate HATE moist, slobbery cig butts. so...i'm trying to find that perfect "feel" for it, as to where feels best and to get the best draw. i'm sure that's a unique thing for everyone, but if you have advice feel free.
let's see...oh, get some glycerine, or some VG. i don't have PG separately so i can't attest for it's effectiveness in adding, but a couple drops of glyceine really helped with vapor production, and seemed to smooth it a bit.
i'd say lastly...go watch videos for m401/evo/similar "maintenance" as the Pilot is a 401, there's a good one from "igetcha69" (thanks again for the help!) that shows good methods for filling, dripping, topping off, and cleaning.
just don't get overwhelmed.
one person (sorry, didn't backtrack to get a name) told me to not be so paranoid about my ecig, that i was worrying myself about burning it up, damaging it, whatever, and they were right. it's delicate, but it's not like you can't replace the parts if you goof up
just do some research and do be a complete ..... with it!
(incidentally, i'll be picking up my EVO at the post on Monday and i'll give my novice user opinion of it as soon as i play around with it too)
---update
sorry, this is shot from my cell phone, and i'm not even dressed up, haha.
just a quick puff on my pilot, this is with a couple drops of added glycerine and the standard, low nic marlboro cart that came with it. i'm still working on my puff technique too, heh.
but anyway, i'm A BRAND NEW user, and this is the amount of vapor i'm getting.
