Lon is 1mm, ~250 rrp

Sat22; looking at mine, guess = .8mm, 2x. rrp ~ 200.

Hear Dudenberg's are relatively cheap & put off a good vape.

I would recommend though, for a first genny set up, don't worry about getting a HE setup. Flavor is gonna be on point just by the fact of setting up a proper mesh build. It takes some time to learn the ropes & it's not for everyone. get something decent within your budget & upgrade if you love it.

Good luck bro.

Don't listen to all these people who state genesis addy is dead. Genesis addy by far is the best. Mind you I'm a big dripping RDA guy. I think of genesis atty as a fine wine or a fine champagne. Of course the ejuice on the end of this has to support it. People are not going to understand this and never will.

Genesis really depends on build. But design on RBA is big factor. So many great addy out there. Sat 22, Kraken, The Dome, Ihybrid and ect. I'm a big Ihybrid person so don't ask me what's best. Even there Pure line is really good. The draw is really tight, but damn the flavor is nice.

Actually I love the Ninja Mod stuff. I only use their drip tips and have the RYU mod. Haven't tried the rest of the line but stuff is on top of the list.

Thanks for the help everyone,

Picked up a Richman Hybrid, LOVE IT!!!!

I received my ss rope and 400 ss mesh today.

Was pretty hard to cut the rope with what I had, but I won't need to do it often. Oxidized the hell out of both it and the mesh, wrapped a 1.5 ohm coil with 30g kanthal and it works. The vape is pretty bad, but it works and for that I am thrilled! It's wicking really good and working out the hot spots was very easy.

I do notice that the coils are like a tenth of a millimeter too loose and not touching well enough, they were glowing the brightest. I think I am going to rebuild and fix that, but we will see.

As for the flavor.....I have some well steeped Nicoticket Virus in there and I literally barely taste it with a metallic undertone. I imagine that the flavor will get better with time when its been broken in?

I think now that I can make a working setup, I will use some 26g and see if I can get a good 4/5 wrap 0.8 ohm coil in there. Too lazy to dump the tank and do it now, so ill just try and vape this out and see where it takes me.

The more you oxidize it the longer the metallic taste will hang around, it could take a full tank. The small gap you have between the coil and wick will fill in with juice deposits and shouldn't be an issue after that first tank. It take a few tries to get a system down that works for you but it's absolutely worth the steep learning curve when you get it.

Yup, I agree and can see that now. It was a real struggle with just 500 ss mesh, hot spots be damned. The mesh and rope, very easy to wrap on and easy hot spot fixing.

Since the metallic taste is coming from the oxidation, do I need to torch the rope if the coil is touching the mesh instead?

You only need to oxidize the mesh when using it over the cable. When I oxidize mesh I slowly discolor the mesh without getting it hot enough to glow. I only oxidize the coil area after rolling but quickly heat the entire rolled wick to burn off oils from fingers when it was rolled.

I never tried mesh sleeve, but I use ekowool sleeve and love it. No need to oxidize neither the ekowool or cable as the ekowool is insulating it. No metallic taste at all. and hotspots are relativity easy to work out. I say relatively cause you can't move the kanthal too much after it's wrapped around the ekowool. I just make sure to wrap it perfect before screwing it on now.

I was about to pull the trigger on a kayfun lite last night. After it was built, I vaped on it for about 30 minutes and I absolutely hated it. Mind you this is coming from a plume veil. The amount of draw required to get it to hit like I wanted was insane.

The guy at the shop recommended looking into the big dripper, said it's probably what I'm looking for. I think they're getting some in next week, so I'll head back and test it out.
