First hello to everyone out there!

Hi, I'm Luc, living in Corsica, France. This is my first post here on ECF. I'm already a regular reader of an equivalent French forum, but I decided to register here also as the community is very large and some topics and threads caught my attention.

As far as vaping is concerned, I stopped smoking analogs the same day I bought an eGo-C kit, soon to be six months ago.

Always loved tank systems, and even if I tried some other atomizing systems (cartomizers , DCT, clearomizers / stardust, Vivi Nova tank, etc.) I kept coming back to good old eGo-C tanks as I felt it was bringing me the most consistent vaping experience.

Some weeks ago I bought a Provari V2, and since then I kept looking for other rebuildable atomizing systems that would feet right in.
I decided to buy a Bulli-Smoker A2-TM (I'm a tank lover), that I received and built for the first time today. It's a really great vaping experience, and it's a pleasure for me to build my own coil. Lots of flavor and vapor.

I also bought and received today a DID and a mini DID, and I'm now expecting a short DID and a Gemini coming in next week.
I didn't build the DID yet, as I need to iron out a tiny defect on the positive pole connector. Also, I'm taking my time and gathering lots of info and watching how-to's to be ready to correctly build this Genesis atomizer.

I wish everyone an happy vaping! :2cool:

I'm also very interested in vaping regulation. It seems that EU is considering a total ban of e-cigs in Europe. I'd like to know more about current e-cigs regulation in the US.

I don't know all the details but I can give you a basic run-down of what is happening in the US.

Almost all of the states in the US now have some sort of public smoking ban. Some states are discussing including ecigs in the smoking bans. Some states such as, I believe, Arizona have already done this. As we saw when all the smoking bans started, it only takes one state, then within a few years the rest will follow. These decisions are being made and regulated on the state levels.

On the Federal level there are talks of regulating and taxing ecigs like tobacco. Most likely, if this were to go through, then they would only be able to tax the liquids.

There are many people that are much more knowledgeable than me on this subject and I may not have my facts 100% accurate but that is my current understanding of what is happening.

Hi 45H. Welcome to the forum. We may have posted at the same time last night. But you know 100% more than I do about this whole thing Haha

I still have a lot to learn, vaping is such a broad subject! Anyway, feel free to ask questions anytime. I'll do my best to help you out, and if not me many other members will be able to provide you with insightful answers.

Thanks a lot for this quick sum-up of the situation regarding vaping regulation in the US.
As I strongly believe in e-cig as a way to quit tobacco smoking, I'm concerned that it could be inappropriately regulated or simply banned altogether, which would be plain stupid IMHO.
