I just received the 5 flavors I ordered for my brand new Ego-C Twist (which also just arrived). Have seen something about "steeping" the flavors and I get the impression that new juice needs to just sit for a few days before the flavor will show up properly when used -- is this correct, and if so, how many days should I let it sit? Should it sit in the refrigerator or at room temperature?

I ordered it already made up, so I assume that means pre-mixed.

Not sure what flavors would be simple ones -- I ordered coffee flavors and also Harbor Menthol, so maybe the menthol is a simple flavor. Will give it a shot and see what happens!

The menthols are generally simple flavors that can be vaped immediately on delivery. Coffee, desert, and tobacco flavors are generally more complex and benefit from 1 - 3 weeks steeping.

Also give the bottles a good shake every day to help the juice components combine.

Thanks for the information! I was wondering about that "steeping" myself. Shaking the bottle every day is a new one for me.

Also depends on the manufacturer. Some of the major ones blend their juice really quickly after you order. Mt. Baker is one that absolutely needs to steep. I have a flavor custom made for me at my local B&M and it's delicious right away but only gets better over time (it never lasts long enough though) but it won't ever hurt letting them sit a little.

every flavor is different. i notice some improvement of flavor over time. but no need to wait. start vaping now. suggest you drip each flavor till you find which flavor needs to steep. don't automatically give up on a flavor if you don't like it in the beginning. put it to the side and try another. after a couple of weeks, you may find the flavor is fine.

Well, I tried the menthol first and maybe it's just a little "raw" but I don't find that to be a problem with menthol, so I'm using that for now. I also tried the Mocha Coffee, and I wouldn't say it's terrible ... I can taste enough to figure that it will probably improve and be really good after it sits a while.

Will the Mocha that is already in my one tank steep all right there, or should I put it back in the bottle? Also, I saw a mention about leaving caps off bottles while the juice is steeping, is that the right way to do it?

Yes, leaving the cap off is one way to do it (especially if it smells 'high'); do make sure nothing can get into it if you have kids around or pets! As to the Mocha in your tank, try this, put it in a ziploc bag, suck out all the air & close tightly, put that in a cup of very hot (not boiling) water & let sit until it cools. Shake it good & try it again, it might be ready:unsure:
