It came out to 2.01omhs and it hits very good im very pleased with my self!! lol yay!!! hahahahha next time im gunna try a 5/6 wrap or a 3/4 wrap to play and see how they they do. I have close to 9 coils for my 2 clear and 1 purple tanks!!!! :2cool:

Good luck!!! it was really easy I watched Grimmgreen rebuild it and just tried it and came out good the first try... but the only thing I found to be slightly annoying is moving the coil around so that it doesnt make contact with the sides. Im thinking about making a cotton wick tomorrow ill try n take some pics.

And another serious "vape hobbist" is born.....:toast:
Keep at it Killaq2188,
next is the world of DIY fluid....:vapor:

I have been looking into it!! :), I have been vaping on and off for about a year but just recently given up analogs all together. I seem to crave the taste of the juice now over the need for a cig. I have a turbine rba but havent got my magneto in the mail yet and still need to order batteries and a charger. Then I am all set to cloud it up!! lol

Yeah i like to use the 3mm. The 2mm meant i had to pack the thing out with more than just 2 flavour wicks otherwise it would gurgle and leak. 6 loops 2.5 ohm's.

Have you noticed a difference in the flavor of your juice when building your own? It seems like there is more flavor with the rebuilt coils then the stock.

I built my first coils this week for the Igo-L, using 32g wire. Until reading this thread it just never occurred to me that I can do this for my Protanks too. I've been doing it just for dripping. This opens up a whole new world. Thanks!

Actually it's pretty easy. Well compare it to recoiling a T3 it's a walk in the park, though the thing with the T3 is getting the grommit back into the base., It was months before i realised i could push it back in with the tip of my little finger with ease. The problems i had leading up to that, oh god !

Yeah i was looking at getting an IGO L. Don't like the fact there are no holes in the terminals though, I'd have nothing but problems with that. Now i'm looking at the IGO W instead !.

Congrats Killaq! I'm envious, because I've clutzed out with my first few attempts (I wound up with a couple .5 Ohm coils, though I was aiming for 2.2-2.4 Ohms). I've been trying my PT rebuilds using 2 mm Ekowool, I wonder if it would help if I use a larger thickness.

BTW what does 4/5 wrap mean? I though wraps was a round number, i.e. 6 times around the wick to hit the 2 - 2.4 ohm range (depending on the wire thickness).

Regards
Glenn

4/5 wrap means its 4 full wraps plu the 2 1/2 wraps where the wires meet each other. If you look ant the coil from the top like in the pic you will see 6 wraps but from the bottm you only see five. 5/6 wrap.
