What are you vaping with now that you think a mech mod is "going up"?

You might just find the opposite is true. With limited voltage you will be unable to heat some coil builds fast enough to use them. For example, a dual coil .28ga 1ohm build may take 3-4 seconds of firing before the coil is hot enough to really start producing vapor. You've got to not only know how to build coils, you've got to know how to limit the amount of metal in your coils so they work well on the voltage limitations of the mech mod. You can't just turn up the power if it doesn't heat up fast enough or well enough for you.

For example, this .7ohm coil would NEVER work in a single battery mech mod. It takes about 8.4V to make it work. The best you'll get out of a mech is 4.2V when the battery is fresh off the charger.

Wow this is a new thing for me. I have building up rda and RTA for the last 6 months and understand that it need heat for the wire to start vaporizing those juices... But why 4.2v would not heat up that 0.7ohm coil?

Its not the 0.7 ohm resistance, but rather the mass of those twisted coils (and there's two of them).

As to the RDA i own many but dont build offten. I own the Magma and the flavor is fantastic. Highly recommended. My favorite so far is actually the Mutation X v3. Huge adjustable airflow and easy to build on. Alot of even veteran vapers i know love the derringer. Super simple build with a small chamber. Just a really nice quick goto RDA.

I use fuhattan and it is a good mech for me... Dont have to remember to lock or unlock, it just have strong magnet that will be hard to switched on unless you are intentionally push for fire....
Having said that I was wishing for cartel mod as well but I don't really use them much anymore... Smok m65 has done all the trick for me

When i build on a regulated device i always build them to work well at around 4 volts, that way i know it will still be a good vape if i toss that atty on a mech mod. I have been loving the Aethertech VCO mod. It's smaller than the SMPL and half the price for an authentic. I've seen em online for around $60-65. Just make sure your atomizers are compatible with a hybrid mod if you get one, not all of them are
