I recently got into vaping and have not smoked a cigarette in 4 weeks. I started off with a cheap pen and now own several batteries and atomizers. I have been watching a lot of YouTube videos and came across a dual 18650 box mod. I know a lot about electronics and soldering and decided to build one. I ordered the parts and the spot im not sure about is the coil build. I understand ohms law and am wanting to build a dual coil with 28g kanthal . I bought 2 AW IMR 18650 2000mah batteries and I believe their 10amps. What kind of coil should I build? I'm new to this and I don't want to blow my self up. And the atomizer is s plume veil.
thanks to any one who can shed some light.

The safe way to go is:

0: First pay attention to the battery - see Baditudes blog; use IMR batteries;

1: get some 30 gauge to start with
2: build single coil: 2 ohms or 1.5 ohm
3: at this point you can jump to 28 gauge or add second coil at 30 gauge

Or if you go straight to 28 gauge: use 1 ohm coil;
use coil calculator:
Coil wrapping | Steam Engine | free vaping calculators

Best to have a regulated mod showing you ohms at any time.

Please state what parts you ordered aside from 28 gauge... presumably kanthal A1.

You make 2 1.0ohm coils? And yes kanthal a1.

Make one 1 ohm coil and vape away.
Once you're happy with that, THEN you add the second coil.

The dual coil will measure 0.5 ohm, and will draw 8 amps at 4 volts.
The single coil will only draw 4 amps.

You can experiment with the ohms on the single coil first before adding the second coil, because you will find there's a sweet spot somewhere between 0.8 and 1.2 ohms; you might also experiment with the diameter that you wrap the coil; 2 mm is pretty standard but I like to wrap 3mm these days and plan on trying higher next time, but too big is supposed to affect wicking.
