The starter ecig kit arrived this morning from Java. Exspected another disapointing smoking substitute, hoped for something that at least gave satifaction and dreamt for something I would enjoy like cigerettes.
Very pleased with the first experiance. I found myself going to the ecig not the tobacco. This may actualy work. My first worry with it was would I just continaly smoke it, does anybody end out using an ecig non stop. I am also interested, do most people carry on with a mixture tobacco and ecig?
Next its the refinements. The battery is currently been recharged, so we will need a couple of them. I have a janty classic kit on its way with the heavy shag carts. Hopefully this will make a substitute for the large old holborn roll ups I normaly smoke. Would appreciate any comments on the best substitute for old holburn. What brand of ecig and cart.
The big test for me is working on sunday. I am a self employed and can happily chain smoke most of the time. At the weekend I am photographing horses in a large arena (a reguler job). Its one of those places where the legislation is stupid. There are great big open barn doors, theres nobody within 10 yards of me, but still no smoking. Will be interesting to see what the reaction is.

Hi Tony, welcome to the forum.

Some people carry on smoking and esmoking, some cut down on tobacco and some quit altogether. You don't have to endure any hardship, for now if you want a cig, have one. Gradually you'll get used to esmoking and will be able to swap. It can take a little willpower but once you do swap your tastes change and many people think esmoking is far better.

I've just tried the shag from Janty and it really irritated my throat and made my eyes water. It was fairly unpleasant but if you like harshness then this might be for you. Don't let it put you off if you don't like it, there are plenty more flavours and a range of harshness. No eliquid really tastes like cigs, you should consider yourself trying to find a better taste.

Hi Tony, welcome to the forum. I am patiently awaiting the arrival of my first ecig. It should be here this afternoon (evening your time). You should poke around the forum a bit as there are oh so many different stories on here. Many people here seem to have gradually and without intending to, replaced tobacco with ecigs. Others are using other forms of tobacco along with the ecig. Still others are still smoking and only using the ecig occasionally. I am hoping to be the kind that takes to "fogging" right away and detests the tobacco taste from day one.
