Hello Everyone, I became interested in e cigs recently and bought a "Pure Smoke" starter kit at a local tobacco store. Only came with one battery and 4 sample carts. The company only sells prefilled carts. Battery life is short and carts might equal 7 or 8 analogs. I am more interested in quality than price. I am not happy with what I have and I don't knkow what to believe with all the different sites I have been to. I would appreciate a few definative answers about what is the best ecig ( I am not sure I undersatand the manual switch thing). It would seem that a refillable would be the way to go even though I have figured out that I can refill the carts I have with my Pure Smoke. Gotta find a source of efluid though. might an e cigar be the way to go? I would guesss that they have larger batteries and hold moe juice. Any input on the e cig packs that hold a battery that recharges the actual ecig battery? I guess bottom line is I sure would like to avoid the expense and time of experimenting with all that is available out there. Any help would sure be appreciated.

These are all the normal limitations of E-cigs. I wouldn't suggest a cigar, if only because there's a lot more in the way of options with the standard pv's, and a lot more support around here for them. You could consider getting a good mod, they tend to be the direction people go, and there's a ton of support for them right here.

I got scammed with the SmokingEverywhere bs, paid $100 for a similar package. As far as E-juice, a lot of good reviews sent me to LiquidXpress, though they seem to be out of stock on some of my favorites right now.

I would recommend an eGo/Tornado kit for you. Battery life is long, 6-8 hours between having to change. They're manual switches, and they're solid vapor producers. The manual ecig is just basically pushing down a switch when you want to use it, as opposed to it sensing you draw on the inhaling end and activating with an automatic. You control the battery life basically.

Juice, you can get from almost any supplier in the forum, almost all of them have some form of juice. Getting a solid opinion on what the best is, is a difficult task, everyone has their favorites.. so I'd suggest hitting up the juice reviews and the supplier reviews, and maybe look for a local supplier if there is one on the forums. This is the one thing you have to find out for yourself though, since everyone likes different tastes.

As far as the eGo/Tornado goes, it's becoming a favorite of pretty much anyone that tries them, and is a very solid performer from what people are reporting as well. It uses the 510 atomizer threads, and 510 carts.. which gives you the option of the cartomizers for the 510 as well, which are one piece units that contain as the name implies, the cartridge and atomizer, sealed together and designed to be thrown away once emptied... but the good people here have many different ways to refill them, ranging from super easy but potentially messy until you get the hang of it.. to a little more involved but a little less messy.

The other options from there as far as getting the most out of your PV in my estimation would revolve around a mod of some sort, e.g. a Chuck, or a Screwdriver, GG, BB, etc. Generally a system that uses independent Lithium-ion/Po/Mn batteries. This generally gives you a very decent battery life, and can be a lot more cost effective over time as far as replacing spent batteries. If you choose a mod, I would strongly suggest researching them thoroughly, as they all tend to differ in size and shape.. some the size of a small hand flashlight, to the box mods that vary in size as well. Some even inventively containing a pushbag inside that feeds drips into the atomizer without having to mess with bottles.

E-cigars, I can't comment on, I know next to nothing about them and haven't had the inclination to look into them.

Thanks so much for the replies. It's appreciated. I'll check everything out. I live in Reno Nv and so far, haven't found a lot of retail outlets for the ecig. I woiuld have thought that the tobacco shops would have a good selection as I'm sure they have customers who would buy them for airplane trips at least. Nothing wrong with online, but checking them out in person is good too.

As far as vendors, I only recommend looking for local ones on here, some will let you will call pick up your order, but the ordering will be done for the most part, online. Most mall kiosk style stores aren't up to the same level the online retailers we have to choose from here. They're usually selling subpar PV's/juice and charging 2x as much.

I live in Reno too and I have found nothing e-cig to buy local, other than the pure smoke which I also purchased last week. I find this lack of availability odd since there is legal prostitution here why can'y we get e-cig supplies? Ok back to my point. I bought the pure smoke last week. A co-worker brought her to work and I was intrigued so I got mine right away. When I got home I went online to research it only to find their website did not work after you pushed on the button that said I am over 18 blah blah blah. What I did find was this forum and this whole new world about vaping that I didn't even know existed. I was not really happy with the performance of my pure smoke but the idea of a smoke free life really go to me. I spent hours reading the posts and finally decided to order the pink tornado from Totally Wicked. It just came today!!!!! I raced home from work and plugged it in. I also ordered some juice; coffee, lemon, french pipe, apple, and menthol. I wanted to let you know that while my new Tornado was charging I couldn't wait to try the juices so I dropped a few drops of the apple into my menthol pure smoke cart. and after I got done sucking all the juice out (i guess I overfilled it or maybe your not susposed to refill this kind) it worked pretty good. More flavor than the origional flavor and a good amount of vapor. Wow this id getting a little wordier than I expected and for that I apologize.
Also a few days ago I ordered more juice from healthcabin I want to try all the flavors. There r a ton of places out there. Anyway so far I have tried the apple but not with a clean cart., french pipe (like the first taste but the aftertaste is like chewing tabacco yuck!, Lemon, and coffee.

If you want to play around with your puresmoke you might try just ordering some juice. Check the forum because that model might be the same as another one out there and others might have some tips so you don't end up with a mouthful of straight juice.

Happy Vaping,
Erin
