I love the VS3. Looks amazing on my Provari and vapes very well. Only I have a vision someone got stoned. I submitted a trouble ticket but I was wondering if anyone has had this issue and fixed it without waiting on the snail mail? It seems to be leaking from the bottom where the innard and tank connect.

Other then this small issue I love GV and will keep buying from them. Not really a fan of the atomizer and push cart but I will give some break in time before I insert my foot in my mouth.

I know this will sound simplistic but, my 1st one was seeping at the bottom and I just screwed the tank down a little tighter on the o-ring, wiped it down with a damp sponge and it hasn't leaked since (4 cleanings & dry burns later) - after trying this, if your tank still leaks then you may have a twisted, broken or otherwise defective o-ring - let us know.

Is the o ring laying flat against the base below the threading? If it is twisted or not sitting right in general, you need to straighten it out. I just used some tweezers to adjust it until it wasn't twisted and was laying flat against the base like a washer. The manufacturers don't really bother with making sure the stones are assembled correctly since the owner will be fiddling with it. Annoying, but I managed to get my stone 2 in great shape.

I just took a look at it and the washer is fine. IMO the washer is too thin. Thats a shame. 3rd go around and still basic stuff that should have been fixed is not. How annoying. Its not like I got it and put the screws to it. It was snug out of the package and thats how I filled it till it started leaking. Then I went tighter and still leaking.

The Vision Stone is my go to vape;they tend to need a little tweaking, though. :p

I'm no vaping pro, but I use the Stones almost exclusively and this is what has worked for me:

First off, what kind of juice are you using? Mine have seemed to vape better with thicker juice-(I use all VG.)

Empty it out, being sure to blow out any condensation in the tip and blow out the central tube as well. (If you're gonna mess with it, might as well get it clean.) Make sure the inner cup is properly aligned with the wicks:Flooding=leaking. As stated earlier, be sure its properly assembled and the o ring is flat against the base- but DONT overtighten. For some reason, with mine, if they are TOO tight- they leak more. (By the way- what are you vaping on? I am currently using a KGO and, with that, I use a DC tank adapter. It cleans up the look a bit and also seems to help a bit with the leakage.) Now, when you refill it- fill it only about halfway.

This always works for me...I don't mind the extra maintenance because it's like the Energizer Bunny, and I can always get it to vape better than the very first time.

Good luck!

The o-ring and everything else is fine. Only it just looks smaller then it should be. I vape mostly thick juice also, on a Provari. I can see why its your go to. I fell in love before I noticed it was leaking. I dont really feel like I should have to fiddle with it though. One thing I noticed is the beveled edge where the o-ring seals the tank. I will try one of my replacement inners and see if it still leaks. If it isn't one thing its another.

I sort of lied, but I didn't mean to. I see the world through rose colored glasses ;)

My V2 was never completely great. It did still leak, but not as bad. I just got some new innards for it since one of the wicks came off of the other one. The innards I got didn't have an o-ring on them, but I just moved the one I had from the old innards to the new ones. It hasn't leaked a single drop yet, but I'm still on my first tank. I have pretty high hopes, though.

Just an update to my issue. I got an email today with no resolve. I guess my trouble ticket was confusing to the person that sent the email. Its not leaking at the battery connection its leaking at the main threads to the tank on the bottom and the top when I blow it out to cure the gurgle it comes out the top.

I have a temporary fix since this problem is ongoing. I used a o-ring from Lowes that does not fit but it stopped the leak. part number is 96749. Sock number is 35. here in the picture u can see the tank is not able to be threaded all the way. Its a worry cause I dont know how many times I can tighten it this way without stripping the threads. So until my trouble ticket is resolved I will be using it this way.

On a positive note. It vapes like an ape and I have yet to have a dry vape out of it. I love it and I hope to keep it that way, but fixed the rite way of course.

One more thing I think should be said here and I needed to cool off and vape the VS for a while. I just feel taken when you say if it don't fire and it just so happens that was not my issue, but id consider it DOA if I could not use it from the get go. What if it had been damaged in shipping but still fires? Plus the o-ring I had to put in to fix it was by no means a permanent fix. It was temporary till your customer service kicked in but its not looking like it ever will. When I say temporary its no stretch of the imagination cause I have only ran one and a half tanks and its leaking again. I knew it would. Its nice to have the statistics though. I better stop telling people to buy this tank cause around $600 worth of peoples money was just thrown in the trash. I don't see how any of the people that bought that leaky tank could be very happy about it. Its pretty obvious though its about the money only and you wont get anymore of mine.

Its not that I want drama. I want what I paid for and service if I don't. It should be every vendors responsibility to supply product that performs as advertised and fix the problem if it don't. Thats what people pay you for. In the end a $16 paper clip would have been more useful. I really wanted to come off as nice as possible but with this issue being so hard to fix it makes it hard and im sorry if anyone was offended. I know everyone has the cult followings and I respect that but facts are facts. This is my first order and im getting screwed. I didn't vape on it for a week. I filled it. It leaked. I turned in a trouble ticket. No dice.

we are not offended and you are just expressing what happened to you but again not sure how you get to the conclusion so many are unhappy, over 5000 sold and 40 to 50 people with issues that we cant confirm to exactly what the cause is, some could be user error some could be the product, but with how cartomizers are disposable products that get used and have liquid they cant be taken back, it just policy, but we can deal with any doa carto, this is standard in almost all vendors on ecf.

your issue is not a known one for them to leak at the threads, not even here on ecf, maybe 3 or 4 people, so when we take into account how many sold versus how many say they have a issue the percentage is real low, add to that others sell the exact same product and the issue your describing doest seem to be something to be a major issue, but i understand your frustration but we must adhere to our policy.

one thing, did you try to flip the tube, menaing do both sides leak.?

and in yout icket i told oyu when i get tubes in for the tank i would send handle you, so not sure what the issue is, we will not replace the unit but if the threads on the tube is the issue then maybe a new tube would help.

mine dont leak BUT my v2 developed a crack the followed one of the base threads half way around the tube. it started weeping at the crack so i took it apart to check it and both ends of the tube the threading looks kinda frosty and cracked and deteriorated. i would have considered just getting a new tube when they come but depending on the price it might just be better to get a couple more complete ones to have the extra parts.
i do believe if the tube was the thinner plastic it would have prolly cracked and broken all the way.
also i read about somebody using a plastic solvent to weld the cracks on stardust tubes and i want to try this on the damaged threads. but again for ten bucks it might not be worth the effort.
for me they work as well or better then a ce2 in any tank and while i like the other visions these just look more refined.
heh its my only big one in rotation right now and i love it
