Just wanted to share with the boards.
I placed an order from V4L the other day for 2 blank black carto's. Took a lil bit to get here and guess what? They were out of black.
I got a note on my order form which basically said, hey we are real sorry but we were out of black so.. we gave you Blue instead, and we threw in an extra 5 pack.
Not only that, but they threw in a couple free sample pre-filled carto's to.
Some may be wondering up to this point whether I think this is good or bad.
Having worked in Customer Support and Tech Support departments for years I can truthfully say that customer facing businesses are incredibly touch and stressful. Especially a small business. Stuff happens. I honestly didnt even know they had more than one color. Regardless, V4L decided to sacrifice some profit to try and make me happy as a customer. I appreciate this supremely.
I would have been fine with just a color swap, personally, as I know how easy this stuff can happen, and its not like it was super important to me. If I for some reason absolutely needed black, yup I would have tried to arrange to send back what they sent when new black ones arrived and been quite content with that.
As it stands, I want to say a hearty THANK YOU to V4L for taking the time to make a customer happiness decision over a business by the book decision. I respect the hell out of that, and You have gained a new consistent customer.
