Hey Everyone,

I am a newbie to the world of vaping and have my first unit on order :). One of the main reasons I am getting into this is I will have the ability to smoke inside. My girlfriend is concerned though that there will be an odor similar to ciggarettes. I have told her there is no concern. Anyone care to comment about the smell of the vapor if any? Ive been high and low online and cannot find any information about this.

Thanks!

There may be some smell but it won't be of cigarettes. I've found there are only a few flavors that have a lasting smell - my wife's ruyan#4 from heaven gifts and it smells like cotton candy although it doesn't vape that way, and my Black Currant from Decadent Vapors smell like... berry/black current. Not many others have noticeable smells esp. the tobacco flavors. You're more likely to smell a strong vanilla than a marlboro or camel juice... in my experience.

And WELCOME!!

I have been chain vaping inside my apt for 3 months. When I leave and come back home, I don't smell anything at all in here. Nothing. Even my closed in bedroom that I vape in for about 4 hours every night has only a very slight almost air freshener smell. My friend was in here one day as I vaped and I asked was there any odor. I was told a slightly sweet smell that quickly evaporated. Vaping leaves nothing at all resembling the icky burnt ashtray smell of analogs.

It's not much, and it depends entirely on what you vape. Mints for example you can smell for a while, but it smells of mint, nothing else. Cinnamon and clove you can also smell for a bit, but well, it smells like cinnamon and clove. Other than that, its nothing or slightly sweet, but very light.

Although, once I had a bottle of "mint" that tasted like mint, but did leave quite a distincive un-minty smell of soup. Got it 2nd hand, though, so may have been a bad batch or off or whatever. That only happened with this one bottle, though, and once I stopped vaping it, the smell disappeared until next morning. (May have disappeared sooner, but that is when I noticed.) And even that was nothing compared to the smell of analogs.
