My first post on ECF... found this site a few days ago and feel like I hit the jackpot with the wealth of info found here.

Saw a thread for a mini prover which will take a 18350 battery. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provape/255772-mini-provari.html

Does anyone know how this mod was made, specifically the threading? Also, I'm wondering if the extension would allow the mini to accept the 18490... This would make it more versatile, kinda like the don.

I'm just guessing but probably done on a metal lathe.
First cut shorter then threaded to fit the end piece.

I just got mine and purchased the extension for it just because the 18650 seems to be one of the most available battery sizes. That and they are rated for more mAh's.
Just from a quick look 18350 range from 700- 1300 mAh's.
18650's range from 1200- 3100 mAh's.

For something like the provari and using it for higher voltages it would diminish the use time considerably.
All for a savings of a couple inches.

But it does look like he did a good job.

I've been looking for a good VV PV that can be versatile... take a larger battery when I'm at home or out golfing, or be more stealth and pocket friendly when out and about (and i don't mind carrying couple small batteries). Kinda like the concept behind the gg telescope or the don, except with vv capability.... and it's so purty
