Hello to all!

Thanks to all for all that I have learned while lurking the past few weeks.

I do have a couple questions. First, is it common to lose a sense for the flavors of the vape towards the end of the day? I do not go through that much juice, and am not vaping heavily, but I just can't seem to taste the vape in the evenning the last two days.

Second, is loss of flavor one of the symptoms of needing to replace an atomizer? I have one Vision CE4, two CE4 clones, and just picked up a mini Vivi Nova (a clone too, and I wish that I knew that ahead of time). One of the CE4 clones is fried. Another might be. The mini Nova clone works for 1/3 of a tank, and needs a dry burn, coil replacement, or something. I am getting tired of it pretty darn quick. I sure am sick of dry burn and burnt rubber tire. This leads to the next question...

Third, how many dry hits before one drops out? Really. One more and I may gnaw out my own tongue... Maybe my taste buds are dead and becoming zombies, and that is why I can't taste the vape at present???

Fourth, I need some recomendations for a direction is some good atomizers. Considering a Protank, an RBA, or maybe a pale of Vision Nanos. I am looking for a temp fix, but want an RBA that will work on an EGO twist. For an RBA, the priorities would be as follows:

1) Flavor quality
2) Vapor production
3) Works on an EGO twist
4) Glass tank
5) Don't really care if it is a PITA to rebuild, as long as it WORKS WELL... REally, really, really sick of dry hits. Really. I have a work bench covered in electronic test equipment and RC gear. I can do the rebuilds.
6) I would prefer to not spend the money required for a Kayfun, but if that is what it takes... I can't find that much on the mini cobra, heard AGA s won't work on an ego, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! One idea: make sure you tilt the thing fairly often to keep the wicks saturated.

Another idea: if you've been using the same clearo for a while, have you taken it apart and cleaned it up real good? Usually, a good cleaning and careful dry burn to get rid of the burned gunk on the atomizer will fix things up.

I use a dual coil cartomizer tank, and have never had a dry hit. I don't know if it comes in glass, though (I know mine is plastic). And when the vapor stops coming, I just replace it with a brand new one, refill the tank, and take 5 deep breaths in, to draw the juice into the cartomizer, and continue on until the cart dies again.

I've had a lot of the same problems when I first started.

As far as atomizers that would fit on a twist, I've had good luck with the Kanger Protanks and EVODs. And if a coils gunks up
too much, you can just swap it out and either throw it away or give it a soak in pure grain alcohol then rinse well.
