First post from bottom feeder wannabe

I've already learned a lot from the threads here and YouTube, which should be renamed vaping College Online, so thanks to all who have contributed to my education.

On order I have NJOY NPRO starter kit (to get the pass-thru, chargers and case) and refills because I like easy. NJOY is available at the 7-11s in my area and I like to think supporting on a local level could help other local retailers recognize a market for ecigs.

I'm seriously contemplating a Wetbox because it looks mighty easy but I also wonder why every serious vaper isn't rocking a feeder of some sort. Seems like battery mods are way more popular. I don't want the bother of dripping or to have to handle bottles of e-liquid more than once in a day (or two) and anticipate eventually trying every feeder mod I can find.

The feeders I've seen all seem to take 510 attys and carts but I'd rather something close to the NPRO cart, which I THINK is like an 808 but I'm so new I have no clue.

Anyway, glad to be here and to finally be vaping all the time now!

Welcome to the forum Sewknitty! I started with an Njoy Npro too because it was available at the local truck stop but really they don't put out as much vapor as I like. I still keep mine around for a backup (I have lots of backups!) You do have to top off the njoy ALOT so I can understand why you're getting sick of it. While you are deciding which model bottom feeder you want you can get better use from your Npro by replacing the cartridge filler with some blue foam and a straw mod, then you won't have to top off all the time.

Dee, thanks for the welcome and for the suggestions. Just today I was wandering around the Johnson Creek site and saw a comment about their DSE103 blank cartridges fitting the NPRO. Talk about excited...I've been trying to figure out which juice to buy ever since then. Okay, so some of that time was spent being distracted by certamic cartomizers but I don't know what the ohm thing is about so I'm glad I checked back here before I took off on another tangent altogether!

Alrighty, I've seen blue foam but never heard of the straw mod. Off I go to find out. (I love homework!)

I would find a 3.7 510 mod with over 450mah battery and slap on a lr 306 atty with drip tip. Its been the best for me so far.

Hi SewKnitty! Welcome to the ECF. I'm glad that you're finding a ton of information to help you make more informed decisions. I went through a lot of other devices that didn't work for me, some better than others, but it wasn't until I got a bottom fed juice mod that i no longer needed analogs. That wasn't my original intent, but that is how it worked out. I hope you find a system that works as well for you.

Thanks, Reddog! The first time I came to ecf was before I was vaping and it was waaay overwhelming. Now that I'm a vaper its waaay addicting!

You are already ahead of the curve. Took me 4 weeks to decade I needed something better Have patience on the bottom feed mod of your choice, these are all hand built. China is not producing them (as yet). My sig. tells you the way I went.

there are still a couple Phidias available @ Nhaler.com if you're in the market. They seem to go fast though, i ordered mine yesterday and there are now only two of the different wood grains left to choose from. Can't wait to get mine. I'll fire up a review when i get it.

I am surprised you are going from an NJOY to a mod, lol. If i recall correctly that is a 4081? I have 2 4081's.... they are decent. But clearly not strong enough for anyone that smokes 1 pack or more a day, in my view.

The EGO, especially with LR atomizer/cartomizer is far better.

no, the battery is not included and when i ordered mine they were out of the battery i wanted. i bought the battery (and a few other toys while i was at it) from vapor junction.

<gulp> a 4081...really?? A commenter on the Johnson Creek site said their DS103 carts fit the NJOY and her being an unnamed stranger and all...of course I trust that she wouldn't steer me wrong! LOL

I'm getting an NJOY pass-thru, have pulled apart some of the carts with success and I'm ready to experiment. Hey, for me this is what thrifty looks like. What I really wanna do is get ahold of a Reo and an Ali'i but I'm pretending to be creeping into the mod thing sequentially.

I had a real hard time not holding out for the Ali'i but i have no idea when they will be available again so I went ahead and got the Phidias instead. I'll probably end up being a mod collector though, so I'll end up with an Ali'i and maybe even Reo too.
