Hey all!

I am new to vaping (dont have any equipment as of yet) and have a few items on the way, I thought I would just show you what I have coming, and get some input on where ot go next... I literally spent my whole weekend reading and watching youtube vids (literally, every waking minute of the weekend, save for meals, and a haircut), and decided to go with the Joyetech 510-T auto kit... BUT... it doesnt stop there.. I will admit I got a bit carried away... I wanted a good intro into vaping, and since Zeecigs doesnt ship to canada (was going to order the ultimate kit) I built my own ultimate kit.

Here is what is on its way:
510-T Auto kit
510 Manual kit
510 PCC
Kanger Cartomizers x10
Kanger M3 510 tanks x5
510 Lanyard

eGo Twist 1000mAh
eGo USB rapid charger
Vision Stardust tank atomizer v3

4 flavours e liquid:
Irish Cream
Tropic
Honey Maple bacco
Merci Menthol

I am trying to find a good large tank, and am going back a forth between the Vision Mini vivi nova V3, the large vivi nova, the vision element, or the Raptor 6ml tank....

Anyway, when I get into something like this, I tend to go all out (even considered a provari with a Z-atty-pro but decided against it.. I may not like vaping afterall.. lol)

Nevertheless, the 510-T kit arrives tomorrow (I ordered from 4 different vendors in Canada, as I live in BC and want to find the best place for parts) I accept that I have to shop in the US for high quality nicotine liquids and more upscale parts, but thats not really a big deal. I used canvape, northernvapour, Capital nic fit, and vancity vapour (I live 30mins from vancouver) for all the above parts...

Couple questions I may as well consolidate into my intro thread, as they are probably noob q's and I dont want to litter the boards with redundancy...

Anyone get into vaping from being a non-smoker? I smoke number 7 menthols, but am curious if nonsmokers start vaping?
What is the general concensus on the Juicy line of eliquids?

Anyway, I think that does it, thanks!

I look forward to what I am going to learn here!

Cheers!

I'm new too, but from all the reading and research I've done (I also kind of went information crazy when starting out very recently), it sounds to me like you'll be very nicely outfitted to start! The 510 is very "upgradable" with eGo parts, but the one caution I've seen over and over is never use the chargers/batteries interchangeably. Charge 510 batts with 510 chargers only.

As to your questions, nope, I got into vaping to get away from cigarettes. Tired of the smoky hair/clothes/hands/breath... tired of coughing and wheezing... tired of toxins I was getting with the nicotine. My goal is to slowly wean off the nicotine. I can't really imagine why someone who doesn't already smoke would want to pick up vaping, but to each their own. I see it as a much healthier option for people who already have a nicotine addiction, not a way to create one. I haven't tried Juicy yet, but I'll be interested to see what others have to say!

Oh, and almost forgot! Welcome BC!! I'm a BC local as well :)

for this id say get the vivi nova large, the smaller one tends to have wicking issues for me but i love this big one. its pretty great i been using it for over a month now. very happy with it. as for me i been vaping for 8 months or so? i started off with a ego riva, went to a kgo from hoosier KGO batteries 1100mAh loved them and just stepped up to a different battery, ego VV from LJ Esmokes. i have never tried the batteries your ordering nor any automatic batteries. hope it works out for you!

Well my 510-T kit arrived today! I really like this! It works like a charm! However the only nic liquid they had was 18 and 24mg, and I got 18, which is a bit strong for me... fortunately all the other liquids I have on order are 11mg...

I love sitting here watching tv and vaping! I need a lower mg liquid however so I can vape more, and not get mad head rushes... The thing with ecigs is there is no built in limiter to how much you can vape (like a cigarette you smoke until its gone) which is both good and bad.. good because I can stop whenever I want without wasting a cig... bad because sometimes I dont know when to stop and keep going and going and going... and now I feel a little dizzy..lol

I can totally stick with this! I have a bunch of flavours coming,

(halo variety pack, and 7ml shamrock, and gingers eliquid - Piña colada, wintergreen, menthol tobaccy, kinda sorta shady, caramel cappuccino, watermelon waterfall, and peaches and cream... plus irish cream and tropic from NV.

This is fun! Now I can see why so many people like it!

Cheers!

Hey Q,

Looks like you're off to a nice start. I'm new to this vaping stuff too, and started with some basic eGo batteries and cartridges. The cartridges were a pain in the neck because I had to keep refilling them and to make matters worse I only got one Marlboro flavored juice to go with it.

So I spent some time here and got a Twist, a Mini Nova tank and some apple/caramel flavored juice. Boy, what a difference! Things are much more enjoyable now...easier and better tasting.

I think that you did a wise thing by picking a variety of flavors to start with. I haven't tried the Stardust, but it seems like a solid choice. If you are dissatisfied with it, try one of the Novas.

So my eGo twist came yesterday, as well as a bunch of clearomizers... I bought some Kranger M3's for my 510's, and have a tardust v3 for when I find a flavour I really like...

I am liking the 510-T for work though, I can hang it out of my mouth and puff away hands free.. plus its small enough that it doesnt draw a lot of attention... except for the blue light which does get a few looks...

I also just ordered a bunch of johnson creek e liquid, I bought both the original, and 100% VG sample packs, plus a 15ml bottle of soltice, which is a sweeter vape apparently...it was the only one not included in the sample, so I just had to get it.. lol

Wow, I have a lot of flavours on the way... check it out:
Halo:
10ml bottle Shamrock
7ml Bottle Torque 56
7ml Bottle Prime 15
7ml Bottle Tribeca
7ml Bottle Tiki Juice
7ml Bottle Menthol Ice
7ml Bottle Malibu Menthol

Gingers e liquid:
kinda sorta shady
caramel cappuccino
Piña Colada
Wintergreen Mint
Watermelon Waterfall
Menthol Tobaccy 30ml, 11mg

Johnson creek: (3ml sample size)
Original PG based:
J.C. Original
Black Cherry
French Vanilla
Chocolate Truffle
Arctic Menthol
Tennessee Cured
Espresso
Mint Chocolate
Summer Peach
Spiced Apple Cider

Red Oak 100%VG:

Domestic
Marcado
Island
Wisconsin Frost
Swiss Dark
Valencia
Tennessee Cured
15ml Solstice:Watermelon raspberry honey dew, and ice(?) for a mentholy kick

Northern Vapour
Irish Cream
Tropic

I must say I am an experimenter at heart... It didnt really cost that much for all those sample packs... I bought a couple larger bottles of flavours that really appealed to me as well...

As far as the Canadian liquids, I find a lot of them come from china, and honestly, I dont trust Chinese made consumables. All the above (with the exception of teh Northern Vapour stuff) is made with 100% US sourced ingredients...

Currently sitting here vaping my ego twist with the 510-T(dont want to waste my clearomizers on mediocre liquid, im saving them for the good stuff) and honey maple bacco flavour... been vaping menthol all day so its a nice change.

Damn, I am already contemplating grabbing a Provari and Z-atty pro.. lol.. or maybe a genesis v2.1... or maybe a... lol...

Damn, this is going to get expensive... good thing I didnt start vaping to save money.. lol.. I am a major geek/gear head.. the gear and equipment interests me as much as the hobby I use it for...

Oh well, I am really digging this!

Cheers!
