Quick description of what i am using atm. I started out using the over the counter e-cigs but just couldn't stand the flavors then I found the ego and a whole new world opened up. With in a a few weeks I was off the evil tobacco and the butter drawer of my fridge is full of juice :). It didn't take long for the cartomizers to gunk up and become ineffective. I picked up a couple vivi novas and was very pleased ... till i found how quickly those atomizers went out.

I am still using the vivi novas but I just got in some nichrome wire and have begun rebuilding the atomizers with the knowledge I have gained from these forums. Can't wait to learn more and make my vaping experience more fulfilling and enjoyable!

How quickly are you burning up the coils on the Vivi Nova?

I use the Vivi Nova myself. I have 1 set up with a 2.4ohm coil for my Spinner running between 4.3 and 4.5 volts and a 1.8ohm coil for my non vv manual batts. I have been using the same coils for 2 weeks now.

If your using an eGo spinner maybe your running the volts a little to high. Also with the Vivi Nova you have to tip and twirl now and then because it does have wicking issues. if you don't you could be burning them out.

Just some advice there.

Gratz on the switch happy vaping.

Thanks on the advice!

It isn't so much that I am burning up the coils as gunking them up. I need to learn more about the juice I am getting from the local shop. One of the first tanks I got literally disintegrated in my wife's hand and it didn't have any cinnamon in it! Almost scared me back to cigarettes.

We have 2 650 mah 3.6 volt, 1 900 mah, and 1 1100 mah batteries. They are standard ego style batteries and they are not vv. As they are all the same voltage I just switch to a charged battery when the light flashes that my current one is getting low. I have found that I prefer the throat hit I get from the 1.8 ohm atomizers so that is what I am trying to replicate. The stock atomizers usually last 2 or 3 weeks with regular cleaning before the coil becomes too gunked up to give me a good vapor. Not sure how long my rebuilds will last yet.

I did not know about tipping and twirlling so thank you very much! As I haven't had issues with leaks I usually set the whole thing down and let it roll a bit so I was probably doing what you said without even knowing it, lol.
