Just saying hi to everyone. My brother in law turned me on to ecigs 3 days ago. I was amazed at the amount of vapor and flavor. I have been smoking pack a day Reds for 25 years now. I have really been wanting to quit for the obvious reasons but....... man, I really LOVE the act of smoking.
After doing some research, I bought a cig2 starter kit(battery, usb charger, and two tobacco flavor 24mg cartos) for $30 in a local smoker's discount store. Yesterday, I bought two bottles of 16 mg VG liquid from Smart Smokes? Anyone heard of this brand? I got Red USA and Blueberry. Haven't tried the Red yet, but the Blueberry is awesome.
Any tips on refilling cartos or where to get empty ones for filling?

Only 4 real cigs in the last 3 days. Today, I will not buy or smoke cigs. vaping only..... on my way!

Fabulous!! Keep at it, spiral! There are a gazillion places to buy juice, and almost as many to buy cartos and other supplies. I suggest you read, read, read! You'll find yourself spending a TON of time here, and the folks here are very nice and will answer all your questions. As far as juice goes,, it's totally subjective. What I like, you might not. Also,, you need to find out if your device is 808 or 510.. that makes a big difference for the cartos you buy. Your head will soon be swimming!! But you're in the right place.. welcome!!

I did watch youtube vids on refilling and just did the drip method with the blueberry in a used tobacco flavor carto. It actually is really good with some left over tobacco flavor mixed in. But, I would like to get some clean new cartos and start from scratch or I heard you can possibly boil used cartos. Thanks for the props and cheers!

Thanks.... My head is swimming!! This place is overwhelming with the amount of info. Who knew? Feel like I'm in a secret club....haha. I do have an 808 so I assume I can find empty cartos on line which have the same threads to match up with my model. I would prefer to buy locally rather than on line though. Guess I'll have to research stores in the Hartford/Springfield area.

I clean my cartos all the time,, I boil, rinse, and boil again.. sometimes 3 or 4 times, until the water remains clear. I blow out as much water as I can after rinsing, and I fashioned a dryer out of an old plastic container lid. Cut some X's in it, push the carto into the X and put the whole contraption over the heating vent. It works like a charm!! They eventually die, but all the cartos I've cleaned like this have been good as new. The trick is to make sure they're really, really dry before filling them back up. And know that once you taste burnt,, it's done, might as well just toss it as that never goes away. Smokeless Image has really good empty cartos for 808s.. the ones I have, have lasted about forever!
