Smoker for 30 years - vapor for 3 months. Tried a GreenSmoke from a tobacco shop mainly because with another winter coming on I was sick of standing outside in the cold choking down a smoke. I was an instant convert and burnt up the rest of my packs as quickly as possible.

After a month I graduated to an Ego-Twist/Vivi Nova setup. Happy with that so far, but missed the portability of the GS, so now I'm getting a mini-ego/cartomizer set-up for on-the-go.

Getting paranoid about flavor additives. I like the nicotine hit from inhaling (unlike the patch or gum I tried and tried) but want it as clean as possible so I'm switching to unflavored. Haven't cared for the flavors or the throat hit everyone goes on about with Pg so I'm going 100% Vg.

I've gotten a couple friends to try e-cigs. One used njoy for a month as crutch before quitting nic altogether. Another is giving V2's a try.

Mainly, I just want to thank the forum for all the information I've gotten from here - thanks all very much :toast:

Ive been vaping going on my 2nd month now and i was a tad concerned about the flavoring too, what i did was buy some zero VG from the drug store and vaped that but i started adding a few drops 24 mg of strawaberry cream to the VG and i love it.I also have 12 mg juices i cut down,im kinda liking the juices with just a hint of flavour.

We will see how I get along without any flavor. So far mocha is only one I sorta liked. I can give tobacco and fruit flavors a pass without looking back.

Actually i find 100% VG tastes not too bad, kind of sweet.Mocha was my very first juice and i still like it,i also like RY4 24mg.I add 5 drops of RY4 70pg/30vg of 24mg to 15 drops of 0 VG and i get 6 mg with just a hint of tobacco flavour, its about a 20pg/80 vg mix, works for me,nice smooth taste with just a hint of RY4

Hi Boiler, Welcome to the forum:) You could make your own liquid for sure if you are going to vape unflavored. All you will need is liquid nicotine, VG and something to measure with. There are calculators to tell you how much to add of each ingredient. Good luck.

I found I could get a VG/nic pre-mix for cheaper than dirt, so for now I will avoid handling the nicotine myself.

The other issue with Vg is the thickness, but I'm hearing that thinning it a bit out with water/alcohol will solve that. I will have to experiment a little to see what works.

I mix my 100% VG with a 15- 20% distllled water,2 drops of water to 8 drops of VG ,you have too,its almost impossible too work with.

Hi I'm new to posting but have followed the forum for a while, I wish I would have found this site 3 yrs. ago when i started vaping would have saved a lot of money. I started with Eluma brand which I never read anybody talk about, but I quit smoking with them and then I started with GreenSmoke until I found this site. Had no idea of all the great stuff out there for us vapers you guys have helped me a lot. So just wanted to say thanks.

Thanks! It's good to have an idea of where to start. I expect it will vary a bit depending on the gear.

You are welcome. All this taste and juice mixing is so easy, just add a few drops here and there to your tank and try it out,i dont bother mixing it in a bottle for later,i just mix as i go.
