What's up guys, I'm Kevin from nj and a noob ;) I'm currently using a joyetech ego-t (occasionally) and still smoking a pack a day. I'm looking to upgrade my device (sorry, I'm not familiar with all the terms yet) and quit smoking. After looking around and doing a bit if research, I'm considering picking up the innokin itaste mvp v2, good choice? Any advice is appreciated, thank you.
Kevin

Hello and welcome to the forum Kevin. Glad to have you here!:)

A MVP is a perfect choice!

1. Huge (2600 mah) battery
2. Variable Voltage - Voltage can be adjusted from 3.3 ~ 5.0 in 0.1 volt increments
3. Variable Wattage - Wattage can be adjusted from 6.0 ~ 11.0 in 0.5 watt increments
4. Ohms Meter - Reads the resistance of your atomizer
5. Ability to vape while charging
6. $40 shipped at many online stores

Pair it with a mini Naulitus with the new BVC's (bottom vertical coils) an you will have a great vape.

Hi and welcome to ECF! MVP2 is certainly a good choice, great bang for only a few bucks :) As far as good ejuices- check out a local B&M store with a sampling bar. Taste is super subjective and what I may find delish you may find awful so I hate recommending specifics. You can also go to the general e-liquid section here for reviews of flavors from reputable vendors.

When ordering juice you have never tried before online order the smallest bottles they have and keep an eye on sites for sampler packs where you pick an assortment of flavors for one low price so you can hopefully find some tasty choices with little waste of $$ and juice.

The MVP is a great choice!

As far as juice goes, taste is subjective - you will find opinions all over the place. Best advice is to start with small bottles until you find what you like. (Also, make sure your equipment is good before going on a juice hunt - no juice tastes good on a bad head!)

Here are a few you might want to try, though:
KillerJuice runs specials every thurs-Sat, selected flavors are .99 or 1.99 for 15 ml
MountBakerVapor is inexpensive, and liked by many (but not by all!)
ITC Vapes is worth a try

Deadly Sin from Good Life Vapor is one of my favorites.

None of the above are that expensive. If you don't mind spending more, there are several premium e-liquid companies here that have their own forums (and fan clubs!)

Excellent suggestion! I have two MVP 2.0s, both with Nautilus tanks and BVCs.
I also got the SS replacement tanks...indestructible, and an awesome vape!

If you find yourself like me and not getting the nicotine you need go buy a cheap dripping atomizer. I couldn't quit the sticks for the longest, then someone gave me an RDA and that was it. I haven't been back since.
I will look into that as well, any suggestions on types or companies for RDA's?

Yet, MVP2.

As for juices, your tastebuds are going to be changing as you smoke less cigarettes, so don't buy too much of 1 flavor and dont throw out stuff that you don't like today; they might taste different in a month.

taste can also change a lot when you upgrade your hardware.

For a tank, I'd recommend the miniprotank2v2 or the miniaerotank, because these tanks come with eGo thread, not the cigalike sized 510 thread; less problems in the long term. These are also glass tanks, as is the nautilus.

But chances are you will order an mvp2 kit that includes a tank or 2, probably an iclear16 tank.

Hi Kevin!

I started vaping only two weeks ago and had my final stink stick last week Friday. I started with an Innokin VV V3 because it had the variable wattage and voltage on it. My friends who quit said not to even bother with the regular wattage devices because you will end up with a variable. No idea what they meant but went with their suggestion and reviewed all the different products out there for a week straight. Three days later bought the MVP 2, becasue the Inno VV V3 works great but the battery only lasted me till 5:30 at night. I am still looking at new things. Recently saw the epower 3, that looks pretty decent too. Not sure if anyone here has that one, hopefully they will chime in.

Anyway, I now have the MVP 2 and love it. Battery lasts all day except for the tank. So I went and got different tanks for it. I vape a lot so went with a Nautilus from Aspire, it has a 5 ml tank so it will last me all day. I recommend that tank with the Nautilus BVC coils (Bottom Vertical Coil). They come with the mini but fir the regular one.

Trying to save you some money here, because I have spent well over $400 on different tanks (Kangar Aero,Kanger Mini, Kanger V2, Nautilus Aspire) their coils and the two devices all in two weeks.

I also use a 50/50 PG VG ratio with 18 mg of nic. Have not noticed any cravings with that nic level. Just trying to help you avoid some of my trial and errors on juices/tanks.

I wish you much success!

Awesome...it took me eights months to end up with an MVP 2 and a Nautilus...now I have 2 of each. Perfect setup.
I can charge them up, fill the tanks, and vape for two days straight before I do it again. For me, one 5ml tank lasts just about as long as the charge on an MVP.
Two weeks in, huh? Good job!

Well I picked up the mvp v2 and I absolutely love it! :) I also picked up a IGO W RDA, man that thing kicks!! Which brings me to a question, guy at the store made my coil (28g 10 wraps) which is 1.4 OHMS and set it at 5 volts, I was reading some charts and that seemed like a bad idea. I'm still new at this, so when do I use volts and when do I use watts, what are(if any) danger zones?? Thanks in advance
