I was a pack-a-day smoker for over 34 years. I bought some Buck Naked Fresh Menthol ejuice and an ego/ce4 starter kit last spring. I liked it but never really "got into it". In November, I had knee surgery and the doctor suggested cutting down. I started alternating the use of cigarettes and my ecig to cut down but by day 4, I had completely switched over to the ecig and haven't gone back.

It's been just over 2 months and I am completely addicted to the vaping experience and have absolutely no desire to return to cigarettes.

I have been lurking the forums and finally decided to start posting. This site has an amazing amount of information and a great community in the forums.

Hey mate, welcome! Ask for whatever you need.

Since you need 5 posts until you're allowed out of quarantine, I'm assuming you've tried other eliquid besides the menthol? And are you still using the ego kit?

I'm way past the egos and have tried ejuices from many sites. My main 2 vapes are vamo "Mukey"s with Kanger Aero v2s. I'm really happy with that setup.

My main ejuices are Nicquid Smooththol and Buck Naked Alpine Mist Menthol. I have also just discovered my own recipe that I like better. It's a combination of methol and peppermint with sweetener added.

So glad you decided to join us, Kagreen. Welcome! How great that you were able to transition completely. It's much better, isn't it?!

Thank you for all of the responses.

I'm 48 years old and a pretty serious athlete. I have been a serious student of the martial arts for over 20 years. I love training but I also loved my cigarettes.

The difference since switching has been amazing. Not just in training but other aspects of my life. Too many to mention here.

to ecf kagreen2k. Nice to meet you and I'm glad you're here also. Just a great place to be. I am sorry about the knee surgery (hope it went well). I did basically the same thing you did and had not transitional issues at all. I do however feel I am more addicted to vaping than I ever was smoking. It is a true lifestyle and a wonderful hobby for me. Good luck to you and happy vaping. I look forward to reading more about you. We're like a family here so. . . make yourself at home.

Wow; amazing story glad to hear you changed 34 years of habit. it is great to hear such amazing success stories. I was smoking cigs for 8 years straight; i was always one of those people that was after this pack I am done; but I always would have an extra pack; so that last pack never seem to come. My sister caring for my health got me my first device; an MVP with a decent cartomizer; this lasted me a decent while before i got my first mod. My last official cigarette was the night i did my first build; struggled for four house. bought a pack, smoked one cig and rebuilt my atomizer. I have never looked back vaping has been an enjoyable experience ever sense
